Literally just got my old windows phone out the attic to use as a dumb phone. Still trying to find ways for emails and WhatsApp to work on win8.1 but at least maps work 😭.

Agreed Best phone And had the best predictive text ever. Accurate and learned your quirks and phrases to make texting so much faster and easier. I miss that windows phone.

I wish more dumb phone manufacturers make more qwerty phones. I want 4g/5g and KaiOS, but not T9. It is easier to type using QWERTY

Actually there was one in India called jio phone 2. Looked exactly like this blackberry but with kai os and 4g. Unfortunately it was quite expensive, around 60 bucks. I have never seen it in person. Don't know if it even came to market.

tbh i’ve been looking to get the blackberry Q20 classic simply for texting and calling to completely stay away from social media, so i’m assuming this is perfect for that?

It is.but web based coz os is so ancient Get fennec browser on this (the only browser that still works well) Their audio out on tws is crazy strong even then a new droids

You know you get it with android and have a regular service through android options left and right. Great battery I can do everything an android can do. I loved the keyboard also and the touch pad as well...they need to just up their game with phones and they'd sell better

unfortunately if you live in the US, this phone is not an option to use anymore. these fall back into 3g/2g for calling because they do not support VOLTE. here in the united states 2g and 3g have been shut down. such a shame.

It has 4g lte, but whatapp and other apps no longer support it since the end of 2023. You can even see the 4g band signal bar in the video itself

It seems blackberries were more dependent on services, from what I know the 2007-2009 nokias still work fine. My aunt's e66 can still browse some of the web, you can get youtube "sort of". I'm planning to get a nokia e72.

The Samsung 390g is a Samsung clone of that phone, and being as it isn't Blackberry, EVERYTHING STILL WORKS. Bluetooth, wifi, 4g (no LTE) micro SD, micro Sim, and $20 LESS than the Blackberry Classic, at only $15 on eBay

None of the apps were working. So it wasn't a smartphone. Just a dumpphone with QWERTY keyboard.
