I switched from PRIV to KEY2 LE, and love it! I miss the swiping on the keyboard, but overall, I am a Blackberry fan for life. I need a physical keyboard to efficiently do my job, and this phone is the BEST work phone! Can’t wait, and keeping my fingers crossed, for new Blackberry devices to roll out on the Verizon network! I use an iPhone as a personal phone, but could never switch the business phone over to a full touchscreen experience....

Just switched from my Passport silver to a key2 recently, so far, I love it a lot. Most productive device I have ever used. Now I also don't have to carry a iphone and a passport with me at the same time. I can manage all my things on one phone. Everything from the speed key, to the bb hub has been amazing. I would like to see what BB can do if they were to release a new phone with more updated software and hardware!

Thanks for explaining the difference between the two BlackBerry phones. I have the key2 and works just fine for me. I've been a BlackBerry for over 10 years. I love when Apple users ask, you have a BlackBerry and the response is priceless.

I love your reviews. Very comprehensive! I don't know if you can call the KEY2 a good camera experience. My photos on my Red KEY2 need optimal light and even so they can wash out details. The keyboard is nothing short of fabulous. It reminds me in a way of the keys on my Passport. Let's hope BlackBerry can live on past August, 2020!

Writing this comment on my BlackBerry Key2. This is my favorite BlackBerry of all time. I started off with a 9650 then I got a Storm (ughhh) then did my rounds on BlackBerry 10 with both a Z10 and a Q10.

So, i have a Galaxy note 8. It's time for me to get a new phone. I want the blackberry key2. However, im worried that this phone might feel "out of date" im not a mobile gamer, however, I do use snapchat, and youtube, and discord app. Would this phone be a good one to replace my Note 8?

I have been using BlackBerry Key 2 for 2 years now. Still a solid phone and can help do the dailies for me But to be honest, it feels like after TCL makes BlackBerry, the durability of (most of) the phones were getting lower For example my old Keyone keyboard was unable to use because I dropped it once (like literally just one time from the desk to the ground), and the keys around the QWAS zone could not be typed anymore... So I changed to Key 2. And then last year when I took a shower and let the phone sat in a racket (without any water got in, just steam I think), and yet the keyboard also got the same problem with that same QWAS zone. Problem solved after I changed the keyboard and never let the phone interact with water. But, these problems never occurred with all other BB10 devices I have though (even the Q10, Q20, Passport, and even the Priv) :/

Now I have the proble that it hangs up again and again when writing with WhatsApp. I deleted the cache in the WhatsApp app. I have deleted some apps that are not important and of course photos and videos. Tried a Titan but couldn't hang with it Just got a Key2 LE and it's a joy. Lighter weight is a positive and much better keyboard than my old Key1.

I saw that this phone has the fingerprint feature, do you have to use it or can you just use password like normal. Never had blackberry and don't have a smartphone because I refuse to pay for something that does not have a physical keyboard.

BB phones are not built for games or cameras and etc, its sole purpose is communication. Texting is a breeze. i dont want to go back typing on a touchscreen anymore. i also have the 9800. i love them both. i think its a irreplaceable phone. k2 Le is my daily driver. its really expensive with only minimal specs at 2020 but worth it.

Don't tell me about the ultimate BB experience. ANY BB using BB10 still crushes any android (also or especially BB) or apple device to this day in terms of usability, sleekness, control, BBM and keyboard (irregardless of if it is a hardware or software keyboard). Sorry. The reason why BB10 never made it: too far advanced, too many options, fully designed for html5 and therefore responsive webdesing (which more or less makes apps obsolete) and that BB dropped like 90% of their marketing staff because of their financial issues. You look at a BB10 device like the Z30 or the Passport, from like 2013 and what they're capable of and compare it with nowadays devices. It is literally an ultimate disappointment what was released as BB under android to be honest.
