If uninstalling those 2 things are not working...disable them and unplug your charger....leave the laptop on for about 5-10 mins....then plug your charger and enable them again. I hope this works for you guys cus it worked for me first try.

I have a 2018 Lenovo T470s with Windows 10 installed. I recently replaced the front battery (or battery 1) and kept getting the "plugged in, not charging" message after using my laptop unplugged for a period of time. Method 2 solved my issue. I knew to have the drivers updated, never occured to me to get rid of them completely then get them reinstalled like that. 30 seconds of clicking solved a couple of weeks of headache. Thank you!

One solution for this is, you have to unplug your adapter and click on the battery icon in the taskbar and drag it to "BEST PERFORMANCE,BETTER BATERRY OR BATTERY SAVER. BETTER PERFORMANCE CONSUME TOO MUCH ENERGY. Which is why the charging time takes too long.

I tried all the method but my laptop stop charging after 60%... then I plugged out and plugged in charger after that it charge my laptop for 1 min and then stop charging after that I do the same thing but it was too much irritating...Pls give me final solution From 0 to 60 % charge it work fine but after that for more charging i have to plugged in and out my charger continually... My laptop is hp gaming laptop which I bought year back

Thank You, been watching many vids and trying most of the "tips" on it not charging to 100%. I was about to drain, reopen the laptop and remove the battery. I used the restart windows explorer tip and now I got the green light on the laptop. it went from 94% to 96%.

The second method worked! 🎉 It stopped charging after the system update, checked the battery drivers but no new updates, so probably it has something to do with the battery drivers.

I tried all and none of this worked 😭 My dad took my laptop's charger to the shop and it turned out that the cord of the charger (the one with fuse) had burned internally. The technician sold us a new cord and now my laptop is charging again.

Does battery should have scotch tape if this is the original one? Mine has scotch tape and not charging anymore. We sent it to service center and leave for about 2 hours just to fix the hinges. When we open the laptop it became dependent on the charger and when i looked at the battery no movement and stopped at 25%. When i take out the charger, the laptop just take off. Does it have really battery problem? I don't know if the service center replaced it with the dead battery to be able to became dependent on the charger. The only thing i just wanna know if the battery has scotch tape on the side. Thanks

My laptop is an acer. It was charging when the last time I plug then suddenly it stops and no longer charging even I plug it property. I tried all those methods except 2 and 7 but nothing works. after watching this video, contacted customer care and they told me to do the follownig (Note:- IT WORKED 👍👍) Please try these steps Step 1 :- Remove all peripheral device devices which are connected to the system and remove adapter also Step 2: Complete shutdown your system Step 3:- Press and hold the Fn+S+V keys for 60 sec Step 4:- Press and Hold the Power button for 60 sec Step 5:- Then Connect the adapter and supply the power to the system Step 6:- Then normally start the system with power button Then check it and inform me issue resolved or still same Comment by another user which helped me and many others

Yo brother my laptop is still not charging when it charge correctly it has like a white light near the charging port then it will turn on but now the white light is not turning and it says plugged in but not charging pls help
