There was nothing like going to a Ted Nugent concert in the 70s and 80s. Unbelievable solo’s as he’d climb on top of the stack of amps and jam. I saw him at least 12 times. Every show he had in my area I was there.

My dad is suffering from cancer, and he may not have enough money to pay the bills (usually the hospital bills whenever you have cancer can easily go over $1,000,000) so he did a fundraiser online trying to get money. I guess Ted Nugent saw this fundraiser and figured out where my dad worked at (he works at a convenient store). Now me, or my parents, never knew that Ted Nugent lived in somewhere near (or in) China Springs, Texas! That tripped me out when I heard that! My dad told me that Ted gave him one of his old guitars with his autograph on it so he can sell it and make some money off of that, and that Ted would help him! Ted, if you are reading this, you have a good heart! You have brought joy to me and my parents! Keep rock n' rollin!

I was not a fan of Ted Nugent in the 70s or 80s, but I have since come to love him and his music. The man is a TRUE RED, WHITE, and BLUE American patriot who loves his country and is doing all he can to save our republic.
@razztasticАй бұрын
Keep in mind everybody that Ted Nugent is probably the most famous piece of propaganda that the Republican party has, makes responsible gun owners look like gun toting hillbillies, makes underwhelming music, and that he's on public record calling president Obama a subhuman mongrel; Interesting choice of words for the only black president in American history. You can call that being a "true American patriot", but the rest of us valuable members of society will continue to know the true meaning of patriotism when it comes to the USA.

About 15 years ago I was working Loss Prevention at Meijer in Columbus, Ohio. It is early in the morning and in the Sporting Goods department I see a tall, athletic looking white guy in hunting camo. He looks like Ted Nugent and I would have gone up to him and said, "Has anyone ever told you, that you look like Ted Nugent?" But I brain locked and could not think of the name so I went on. That evening, they are interviewing Ted Nugent on the news because he was in town at the Hunting and Fishing Expo, plugging his hunting videos. To this day, I wonder what Ted Nugent would have said if I went up to him and said he looked like Ted Nugent. haha

Anyone who grew up in the Detroit area knows how much Ted is a part of your life soundtrack. WRIF Baby!!!
@jimiplayscobo58775 жыл бұрын
What about WABX that was before the WRIF. If it wasn't wasn't for that station he would not have any other venue for his music at the time. I understand what your saying about WRIF he used guest DJ but that was years later. WABX had a free Amboy Dukes concert 1969 on the steps of the Detroit library. Look up WABX and Ted is seen playing way back in black and white:))
