Dr. Cripe is the Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Blood and Marrow Transplant at Nationwide Children's Hospital, a principal investigator in the Nationwide Children's Hospital Research Institute, and Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His insights about cancer come from 25 years of practice as a childhood cancer doctor and scientist. He has learned there is reason for hope, but suggests we need to reconsider what we know about advanced cancer biology to cure it. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

You know whats weird.. My mother has colon cancer and is untreatable, they gave her all sorts of chemo, radiation and after that simply gave up. Maybe food cant cure it but why dont they tell people that it can also increase efficiency on chemo? It truly makes me think its more about money then the wealth op people. I pray that my mother gets better even tho she moved out of the house today and im alone and I wont rest untill I found out what I can do. I know many of you are in the same situation and I hope you find ur cure and same urself or your beloved ones.

In 1981 my aunt was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and given 6 month to live (never smoked but she and husband went to smoky dance halls often). She went to México to say goodbye to family. While there she visied a healer who gave her a diet of steamed white rice, boiled beans with bit of flavoring and sea salt, plus kelp/algy and told her to avoid sugar and dairy. To make a long story short 3 months later her cancer was completely gone and lived another 18 years. Then in early 1999 she got cancer again. She repeated the diet but this time decided to skip the kelp and algy bcs they were unpleasant tasting...a huge mistake...she died that year.

healthy children get cancer and also there is a genetic factor regardless of what we eat there could be a risk .. why dont you take your witch craft and talk about it in your Witches Den
@mpisner
@mpisner 4 жыл бұрын
xtension xward While I agree a healthy person or child can still get cancer and it isn’t the end all be all in terms of prevention or cure it is vital component and quite frankly because they don’t do any studies on people’s dieted with cancer and only focus on their drugs we don’t really know the role a person diet has played in their getting cancer or their battle to cure... but there are mountains of evidence that particular diets and specific foods, fruits, vegetables and plants, herbs can have huge impacts on particular cancers. There is enough commonality between cases to show that in almost cases there are two main factors that are almost always present although not acknowledged by most doctors and standard western medicine treatments, which are a poor diet and stress... in cases where a person or child appear to have good health and seemingly for no reason develop cancer... there is little to no talk about the types of stress they may be facing or particular items in heir food that may be the cause, the FDA allows tons of processed chemicals and sugars that are extremely harmful to the body in almost all our food. Some people could be reacting to something they think is generally healthy or safe and not realize it could be what triggering the change in cells to cancerous ones. There is also no talk or testing done to monitor and narrow specific deficiencies a person may have in a particular vitamin or nutrient. I’ve been battling ALL for a year and half. I’m 35 now, so they had faith that I was still young enough to have a chance at being in the percentage of people that beat it completely. But I relapsed in January and having been back to intensive chemo since. I’ve barely felt through most of it. The natural things and eating well are the most effective methods of managing things and helping through. But it’s hard to keep up with it all and maintain balance when going through treatments. After losing my father unexpectedly and dealing with ptsd from it, I was under more stress than I could ever imagine and would never wish upon when my worst enemy, i lived on nothing but junk filled with sugar for a year and half before I was diagnosed with leukemia. There is no genetic evidence with leukemia. I am certain that it was stress and diet that got me here. My point is there is definitely a strong correlation between these things and people with cancer, and in the outlier cases there is likely something not being accounted for because of our current system that would like lead back to these two things playing a strong if not the primary role in a otherwise healthy person developing cancer.

That is the main problem. Saw some students make a this drug, a copy to be clear of a really expensive approved drug. Pretty sure the students managed to get cost down to 8$ a pill/vial or what is what compared to industry charging, i dont remember this completely but think it was in the 1k-2k range for the same amount of same substance. They even have huge factories and labs, they can for sure produce it at the same cost... The income at a 1000% earning still greedy but 80$ vs a couple K$... Nah make it double times 10, ah nice price... lets go with that... Our research shows that selling 15% pills at high cost is more profitable than flooding market for 100% of demand covered. Its just business. Furious and sad 1000%

Why the scientists do not try other ways to treat the cancer? The FDA does not approve easily other kind of treatments, but approved chemo and radiation therapy and is still an ongoing staple treatment , with small exceptions. Why? So many cancer patients died not because of cancer, but because of the toxicity of the treatment. So much money go into the cancer research, and so little into the real research, maybe they need a change of heart.

Help? I've played one part several times, but I still can't make out a couple of the words he says right at 11:30-11-31. I'm trying to do cancer "digging" to help with research for someone near me who has serious cancer, so I want to be clear about all of this. Can anyone help me with what word or two words he is saying right there? (It sounds like he is correcting himself half-way through one word, but the corrected word is kind of "smeared"). Thanks to anyone who can help. :-)

All we've gotten is treatments. I mean come on people let's get a real cancer cure where everybody with any kind of cancer survives.enough of all these explanations description were still dying,yes mary so so treatments worked she's going to live but John so so died of liver cancer today we're still dying.

Three (+) things to stop cancer in it's tracks...pH balance (less meat...more veggie), boost your immune system (D3, ANTIOXIDANTS, etc) and God Chemicals (Tumeric, goji berry, cinnamon, nuts, B17...apricot seeds, etc), and organ cleans (detox AC Vinager, lemon juice, green tea, no more process foods, etc. Lastly, cut out sugar...rice, pasta, sugar etc. Starve cancer, kill cancer with the natural drugs, super charge your immune system, cleans all your organs to function optimally, and keep your system non acidic. You can prevent cancer....this with a salad nut diet...high veggie, low meat have clinically shown to reverse stage 4! BTW eat your apple seeds...B17. I am living proof you will not die 😀

I have also been reading that the sugar molecule is a cancer fuel. Is it possible to weaken the cancer cells by virtually cutting out sugar and most carbohydrates. If this weakens the cancer then could your own immune system then attack the cancer cells instead of rebounding from them?

The NCI does not really want to cure cancer. Then they would go out of business. They're pharmaceutical company Masters want to keep the program going as long as possible. Why not simply look at the cause of cancer and realize that it happens in people whose bodies have lost the ability to fight attacks from stressors. The best way to beat cancer is to prevent it. Prevention is possible and it has been known for decades. I appreciate your talk but you are obviously a product of the medical industrial complex and I wouldn't expect anything more from someone like you.

Chris beat cancer is a big proponent of fruits but the hipprocates institute say to keep away from it only have low sugar berries once a week I believe. So we're just allowed cruciferous veg raw ... or cooked in my case because hard to digest and then juice with it ?

My sister died of cancer in August. Up until then I seemed tumour free. But then, my grief and my careless consumption of pepsi sped it up dramatically. Incidentally, my sister also drank a lot of pepsi. So, cut out pop! Glucose-fructose feeds cancer cells. I am on a regiment of supplements until I can get into chemo. So far, the tumours seem to have shrunk but I cannot tell until I have another scan.

I’ve watched a lot of videos on fasting,specifically prolonged fasting for up to 7 days where autophogy begins and the body eliminates everything harmful,including tumors. Coincidentally,when I was diagnosed with a rare stage 4 cancer,where the doctors didn’t have a specific protocol of treatment,I also starved myself for a month while beginning treatments. Where I had a 40% survival rate,I am alive and well 16 years later.
