An Ohio judge found a 19-year-old guilty of murdering her boyfriend and another teen by deliberately causing a horrible accident. Mackenzie Shirilla was accused of deliberately slamming her car at 100 mph into a brick wall that killed her 20-year-old boyfriend Dominic Russo and his 19-year-old friend Davion Flanagan. Prosecutors say Shirilla was on a "mission of death" and methodically planned a murder-suicide.

She thought she would get away with it! 🤣 Evidence that she planned it AND threatened her boyfriend with crashing the car at various time (s). She's 19. Adult time. Also, if you look at the damage from the crash, her side looks perfect, but the boyfriend and friend were just plain crushed into oblivion....Too much evidence for her to get off....

@@generalpuggamer9336 Legally speaking that's not always the case. In some states, First Degree murder can be defined based on just intent without premeditation, whereas premeditation specifically involves planning. In other words, if someone snaps, runs up to someone and murders them that shows intent, but not premeditation because they didn't plan to do that. Premeditation would involve some planning. For example, if they had planned to arrive at someone's house with a knife with the intent to kill someone that would involve premeditation. Another example would be more careful planning such as slipping poison into someone's food.

@@garlandraglandMurder is always premeditated. The US law only divides this into degrees. Any time you see "murder" in a legal case, it means, "...with malice aforethought [premeditation]." 1st degree, which is a capital crime punishable by death, typically involves a well thought out plan, while 2nd is killing on a whim. Premeditation is when an individual contemplates, for any length of time, the undertaking of an activity and then subsequently takes the action. In Roby v. State, the Supreme Court of Mississippi stated that premeditation is an element of murder.

I didn't say they deserved dying. All I said is don't call someone innocent. In my book if you allow someone to play with your life, you're as much to blame. Do you think she just became a maniac a second before the accident? No, she's been like that for a long time and I'm sure those two knew that about her for a long time. I personally would never hand over my life to someone who is unstable. Their death is without question a tragedy but the build up of it was their fault as much as the girl. If you don't understand it, I don't think I can explain it to you. Just take it from someone who lived life on edge with all sort of crowd. I've lost friends in my youth and knowing the full story every time, it was everyone's fault every time who were involved but in the end we can only point fingers to the living I guess. It's not always black and white as it seems especially when a tragedy happens in people's youth. @@NoahGrill

@@bambooprincess3495are you being sarcastic or showing your ignorance of automobiles? The steering wheel is a detriment to survival; that's why air bags were invented. Before airbags, even if the driver wore a seat belt, they faced death by being impaled with the steering wheel when the engine was pushed into the cabin in a collision. That's why modern steering wheels aren't as rigid as found in cars from the 1970s and earlier. It's also why air bags don't increase survival for passengers as much as for the driver; because passengers don't have a steering wheel to crush their chest.
