Submerged vehicles are difficult to escape from.

The trick is you have to let vehicle flood which equalizes the pressure and allows door to open just as easily as it would on surface

@@josephfuller6229 very true but people panic when under water. Many years ago here in Mn where we have many lakes submerged cars are an issue. State Farm did a test. They drove a car into a lake with a professional diver in it. They had other divers at the bottom for safety. The diver in the car almost drowned and had to have the help of the “ rescue “ crew. If professionals have issues imagine normal people when they aren’t prepared for such incidents

The metal may be strong but the coupling devices that connected the sections are significantly weaker metals and break easily compared to the steel tubing
