Always been super interested in this! One thing I’m crossing my fingers for one day is video support, the ability to connect different clips to different patterns or chop them up within the same pattern would be awesome. Love the new series

@@teenageengineering You've got to get in touch with Coldcut guys they had a program like that in '99 called VJamm. I think they made the clip from "Timber" with that, check it out.

The numbers aren't shown on the iOS device on this demo, but they do show up on the current version. Is there a way to turn them off?

What do the dimensions of photos that you import from your phone or ipad into photomatic have to be? When I import my own photos from my camera roll , the app rescales the photos to landscape mode and cuts off part of the image

you can do a screen recording or record the screen externally using and hdmi adapter. it's not possible to directly export a music video, yet.

yes, use airplay mirroring. ymmv. we recommend the lightning to hdmi adapter though, for smooth and lag-free visuals.

yes, you can make a screen recording on your device and use this.

use a software such as reflector to mirror your phone to your computer, then screen grab it. or do it directly from your phone

@@coelacanth6398 Because Apple has fewer phones than android so that makes it easier to support when they make the app. Also most designers use apple products so its more likely they have iPhones instead of android phones.

@@coelacanth6398 the main reason is that Apple has lower latency audio built into their software and better DACs than Android phones, which is why you see major music companies like MOOG, Native Instruments, Launchpad, Korg, etc. all making apple apps. Trust me, they would make Android apps if they could, it just wouldn't be quality. Hopefully this will eventually change!
