Great video! I was farting around with my speed control, following the directions as you said, with the mode button for 3 seconds, okay, found "neutral", then it asked for full throttle like in the video, I gave it full throttle and that's when my SC and the cooperative one in the video diverged. lol It did nothing. In frustration, just sitting there staring at it, after it sat for a few seconds, I pulled the trigger, and had reverse. A quick throttle 'servo' reverse, and I was off to the races with what I'll assume are the 'factory settings'. I did a conversion with the Losi kit, on my 8ight 2.0 It's a RIPPER!! Could use a little more brakes, so may mess with that. I was a loooong time nitro head, and am honestly, SHOCKED at how insane the car is on 4S! Next is to convert the Losi 8-T!

Can you replace the wire from the ESC to the receiver? I have Mugen MBX7 and the pinion gear accidentally tore off some of the plastic sheath.

Hey buddy..my eb48 has the t8 and rx8 set up. I was doing practice laps and I heard a weird crunch sound going smoothly around and now my rx8 shows 1,2,6,7 l.e.d lights and my car will steer but will not give any throttle. I have only ran this system 3 times. What do i do ? You da man thanks

i noticed the fan isn't installed. is this the recommended setup? i ask only cause i shredded the wire on my new gen 3 lol. upon installation the fins on the heat sick just ripped up the fan wires. do you recommend an aftermarket fan?

I normally don't run a fan unless the temperature is above 85-90F. On average I see 3 lights on the ESC for temp with no fan after a 15 minute run, which is about 150F and completely safe.

@@TekinRacing thanks for the feedback. I've been looking at most setups online and they seem to not have the fan as well. I live in California, but it's good to know it's ok to run without a fan, at least until I order a replacement. Thanks again!

Where can I find the wire bracket you used from the esc to motor to keep the wires nice and neat?

So, is installing a cap on the batt posts only recommended for gen 2 RX8s?

You don't need any external caps on any of the RX8s, they are built in to the ESC.

@@TekinRacing Yeah I saw the caps when I replaced the case. Then why does it say installation of the cap is required for warranty.

@@Crewchief227 if you are referring to our warranty policy we require caps on all ESCs that come with them in the accessory packet. The RX8 and RX4 have them built in, so that statement doesn't apply.
