Mokudragunov! Hahaha! I am not a Russian, but tend to learn the language one day very soon. The Mokujin is a legend which made by Namco, and love to see him back to Tekken 8(And it takes a while after gamers of TekKen got used to all of those 32 and more characters in the game……)

When the subtitles are in parentheses it means the character is thinking it, not saying it (they are also used to translate what King, Kuma, and Panda are saying as they just growl and roar)

As a Russian speaker, I am very surprised how they wrote and said in Russian without mistakes. Meanwhile western game devs still have the russian characters speak with heavy accent or involve actors of Eastern European descent other than Russians. Yes, they improved over the older Call of Duty titles, but still.

Всегда приятно слышать родную речь в таких больших и дорогих проектах. Да учитывая то что у нас в России (не знаю как в других регионах, но в Ростовской области, и на Донбассе) зачастую в игровухах видел Теккен, нежели МК или СФ

Когда появились первые восьмибитки, то стоили они дорого, а когда стали доступны всем, эпоха восьмибиток уже прошла. Первой народной приставкой была Сега и все рубились в Мортал Комбат - потому что у этого файтинга был свой уникальный стиль, к тому же голову разрешают оторвать, мы и не знали что так бывает. Второй народной приставкой стала PlayStation. Где флагманским файтингом был Теккен, первый серьезный 3D-файтинг скажем так в нашей жизни. И все, соответственно, зафанатели от Теккена. Поэтому верно, Россия страна Теккена) так исторически сложилось. В отличие, допустим, от Virtual Fighter, который изначально был развлечением для игровых залов, а нормальных аркад в России было две штуки и обе в Москве - на ВДНХ и в Детском Мире.

Tekken is very good at languages being performed carefully (despite some characters having some conveniences to not speak their birth language or accent *cough* Nina *cough* Lars)

@@pop000690 Lars speaking Japanese makes sense if you take into account that he's been in the Tekken Force since he was a young teenager, and his mom talked highly to him about Heihachi. He's been around the Japanese for most of his life. You can assume that she knew Japanese as well and moved herself to Japan with Lars so that Lars could have some connection to his father. Plus, Junichi Suwabe is too good of a Japanese voice actor to recast for Lars, IMO.

I have many, many, MANY problems with the story of T7 and T8, but I absolutely love this ending. Seeing Dragunov, or any of the fighters for that matter just enjoying their harmless hobby with such joy is a breath of fresh air. Look at how proud he is of his little Moku-Tank

I like how the developers keep making references to one of the most iconic characters: mokujin. Even if he is not playable, even if new players don't know him, he will not be forgotten❤ but the real question is: why dragunov has a mini mokujin?😂
