You forgot about the down 3 or 4 options, you can also roll forward and press 12 to do a diving roll, and if you hold forward as soon as you get hit back youll do a front flip forward and not get knocked all the way back

cool wake up trick is pressing back while being throw far with a powerful attack, it makes the character roll on their back and stand up really quick too

Holding forward while being juggled will get you into quick rising as soon as you touch the ground is another one... Technically

You forgot to mention that there's a just frame tech roll. its a kind of tech roll allows you to get up faster than normal tc and also lessen the damage of King's Giant Swing. to perform a JF tech roll, you need to precisely press any button the moment your character hits the ground.

Feels like Kazuya is more of a high damaging single strikes, while Reina felt more fluid to me, but I know Kazuya can be lethal in the right hands, just not mine 💀 But what do I know, I'm still a beginner, I'm still looking for my actual main

@@arai5148 kazuya is more of a "hold this mix" type of character where if the opponent has enough swag to scare you into just watching him he can make you guess if its going to be a low high or even a mid

man, yesterday I was eating a spam of Kunimitsu cause I couldn't block in time and was already late when trying to roll to a side which only press 1 o 2 as I come from Tag 2 / Revolution (where 1 was for left and 2 for right instead of any being for left only)

The main thing I've learned the hard way is not to get too eager to tech roll, and get confused in wall pressure and start mashing on moves that are just plus on hit but no knockdown.

I have a little question about this, are there times you *cant* tech roll for any reason? I've found myself accidentally getting a wakeup kick once or twice while trying to do this and im not 100% sure if its because i pressed kick too late or some other factor im not aware of. cheers for the videos TBS! i look forward to another tekken lifespan of tremendous guides!

"pressed kick too late"? Why not use 1 or 2 instead? removes the possibility of doing a wakeup kick instead.

There are definitely times when you want to stay on the ground, for example to avoid a mix-up. Tekken's ground game is super layered and fun to figure out!

Wtf do you mean dont roll. Granted, they did the roll that keeps you down, but tech roll is the fastest get up option in Tekken 8 and it has invulnerability frames. That guy just doesnt know how to deal with viktor. Im watching your videos because you consistently say factually incorrect things and its laughable to me
