Paw Pads are means to be shock absorbers for animal feets. So in a sense the Paw Pads are a way of redirecting force or energy away from the body. The way Oda interpreted this was to say that the Paw Pads are used as a form of "Rejection" to protect the user from harm. It's more a focus on the notion of "Rejection" than the Paw Pads themselves. For example you can view Kuma launching people miles away as him "Rejecting" people's placement in space and repelling them as far as possible. You can see the Ursa Shock technique as him "Rejecting" the force of the air between his Paw Pads and reflecting that energy back and forth as it builds up. Finally you can view when he pushed out the pain from Luffy as him "Rejecting" the pain that Luffy had and forced it out of him. It's weird and nonsensical but it's one piece anime logic so you gotta stretch. TL;DR Kuma's Devil Fruit is basically Orihime's power if she ever did anything constructive with it.

I’d rather Kuma wasn’t just choosing a place and magically the fruit guarentees they go there, it would be so much cooler if he had to know the location, how far it is, and use the exact the amount of force required in the right direction to put them there, showing Kuma’s own mastery of his fruit and the mathematics and geography required to maximize its effectiveness

One of the things in Thriller Bark that exhausted Luffy (and the others) the most is having their shadows stolen. It was stated that having your shadow stolen causes a ton of exhaustion, and depending on your will power, you'd be unconscious due to fatigue for x weeks. Well Luffy, Zoro and Sanji woke up just a few minutes-hours after having theirs stolen. That would be the majority of the exhaustion Luffy took, along with Nightmare Luffy being a close second, and then finally Gear 2nd (which naturally takes a toll on the body, as stated by Lucci).

That would be broken squared. And when He can make it vaporise again, that would be broken x 10^5. Like, a 5 Cent piece (in mass) Black hole vaporosing would cause an Explosion 3.4 Times bigger than the Hiroshima Bomb if "in a nutshell" is right.

@@troillandford7679 Kuma can definitely take on Admirals & Yonko Commanders. Definitely deflect Yonko attacks. People underestimate Kuma but ignore the fact that he can slap you across the planet. Unlimited stamina & feels no damage. Laser beams. Shockwaves. Take out damage & fatigue from his allies & can send it to his enemies if he wants to. He's literally better than any Yonko Commander & his devil fruit rivals an Admiral.

I'm confident in putting Kuma in the top 20 of One Piece's strongest characters. This guy is a sleeper, much like Magellan. He has not displayed even a fraction of his entire power, and he may even have awakening already (again, just decides not to use it unless forced to). His Devil Fruit is so damn versatile that this guy could easily be Yonkou Command - Admiral level (or even higher). We can assume he has Haki, because when he was introduced, Haki wasn't fleshed out and not incorporated much in the series. He's a Shichibukai afterall. He also was a commander of the revolutionaries. That should mean a lot too, depending on what the others can do. I really hope we get to eventually see the full extent of this guys power. Let's see him get his mind back during Reverie Arc, and go ham against the Gorosei(who likely will try to wipe out the Luffy supporting royals **cough purge**), teaming with Sabo, displaying hype Armament Haki and Awakening feats. That would be really thrilling. I can just imagine all the PX's along with Kuma turning over to the Revolutionary side thanks to Vegapunk, when shit hits the fan at Reverie.

Of course he can. I don't see any Yonko Commander taking this guy on as well. He can deflect any attack. Including Thunder Bagua. He knows haki too. He can attack Kaido from within. He's also faster. He teleports. Can slap you across the planet. Unlimited stamina. Shockwaves. Can use Kizaru beams. Not held back by pain. Kuma is seriously dangerous

As silly as the Paw-Paw fruit is, it's kinda one of the most OP fruits in the entire series when you think about it, up there with the Ope-Ope. Seriously. Unless we see a Teleport-Teleport fruit or something, it's seemingly the ultimate transportation Devilfruit, allowing the user and anyone the user touches with their paw pads to just go anywhere they want, which is already an extremely powerful and useful ability. Kaido suddenly doesn't seem so threatening when you can just say "I'm sending you into orbit" or "I'm sending you to the bottom of the ocean", touch him, and essentially remove him from the planet. You can also, given enough time, generate effectively infinite potential for explosive force whenever or wherever you want. Kuma theoretically could do pretty much the exact same thing as Whitebeard's fruit and cause earthquakes/tsunamis, he just needs way more time to charge and send off compressed air.

Similar to the Chill-Chill fruit and the Yuki-Yuki no mi how one is clearly superior to the other, do you think Kuma’s is an upgrade on Van der Decken’s Mato-Mato no mi? He can basically send anything anywhere he wants and isn’t limited by having to physically touch it. Also, it will hit the target no matter whats in the way. Any thoughts??

Decken‘s fruit is very limited by the condition of having to touch the target, specifically a living being. If he touches anyone else, the fruit‘s power chooses the most recent, touched person. Kuma‘s fruit is pretty much all about rejecting stuff, Decken‘s fruit is about throwing objects like they‘re missiles that are able to follow the target.

After seeing this, I thought of a nifty theory regarding with the road poneglyphs. As we all know, the three road poneglyphs are kept in zou, totland and wano but the fourth one is still missing, what if the theory about the fourth poneglyph being on the moon was true and the one who sent it their was kuma or someone who had the paw paw fruit at that time? If kuma did it, then roger might have read the poneglyph before kuma sent it to the moon, if it was someone else before however then I don't know how roger managed to attain the information of the fourth poneglyph..

Hi Tekking. Regarding Kuma’s Ursar shock attack. Just think of this. Imagine that he can provoke nuclear fusión with he’s devil fruit. Totally posible. Fun fact: A single bottle of water can release as much energy trough this method, as a full train loaded with coal. Hidrogen for the win.

If I recall compressing and heating gas creates plasma which would explain the light. At the centre of the compressed air once it’s been forced into the space between his hands he pushes it out the air disperses or pops and the plasma is released in all directions all at once

The ursa shock Kuma used on thriller bark was around 291.6386 tons of tnt. this number comes after around an hour and a half of calculations along with assumptions about some of the factors of calculation such as the volume of the air being compressed along with temperature.

He'd probably warp himself a safe distance away, then warp immediately next to whoever has the heat for the 3 seconds I'm sure he can bear, then warp them into an ocean somewhere. Kuma is OP. Long range, short range, mid range. He can be anywhere, immediately.

Yes, if you compress it enough, a gas will liquify and eventually become solid. It is temperature dependent tho. And also varies from substance to substance in how they will act.
