Hello Everyone,
Come along with us to explore Marine Parade Station where one will be spoilt for a variety of food choices, cafes and even unique shops along Joo Chiat Road. We had our lunch at a very old nostalgic eatery, frequented when we were kids and coffee chill time at the newest cafe in the heart of Katong as well as exploring along the newly opened TEL 4 Line MRT stations interior and what's around each of these stations.
With the opening of these new stations, foriegn visitors can visit Katong residential neighborhood with heritage buildings like colonial bungalows and colourful shophouses. The area's rich Peranakan history and culture is evidenced in exhibits at the Eurasian Heritage Centre and at casual eateries serving traditional fare like spicy laksa noodles. Nearby, the Geylang district is known for street food like frog porridge and tze char. East Coast Park has beaches and cycle paths.
