The seniors in my highschool did this when they graduated and since they needed more people they each got to choose a lower classmen to accompany them. I was one of them and it was so cool!!!!!!!!!

The marching band was MCR and Gerard didn't see it he was part of it ... patient was relieving he fondest memory which was seeing The Black Parade Aka the same marching band .............

The marching band did a lot of work, on foot work AND playing. But I bet half of the commentors HAVEN'T been in marching band. So look at it FROM the band perspective. Won't say it's shit then eh?

No it still kinda sucks, articulation as a whole was pretty off, spacing especially in lines was OK, drum majors were off too

kakashi20131 They played it way too Staccato. That's always the problem though with playing popular music. You have to make it sound like actual singing.

+Gamzee Makara I feel like it is because the instruments in the background were being a bit too loud causing the main voice to be drowned out (in turn everyone keeps playing louder)

@@somethingfunny9556 No the staccato is perfect. The background music is what should be fluid and it is. When Gerard sings it the pronunciation is very intense and its imitating his singing. He sings it very clearly with pauses.

For all you people that are saying this was shit. Have you actually ever tried memorizing 10 minutes of music and drill and putting them together. My freshman year was hell. There we times our band director would give the band their music 3 days before our performance and it,was really hard not entioning a lot of times per ussion didn't get their music until the st before and your not allowed to have music. So unless you have personally done this don't say it is shit for all u know. They got their music 3 days before. Its not fucking easy like people think.

Kassidy Coy Seconded. Last year I had about 2 weeks to learn the second trumpet part after playing first for the beginning of the season (At the time we had about 5 trumpets, but most were freshman and played pretty softly). Switched to melly this year though, shit should be great :)

socky rahoo There was one last year from a high school near us, was fortunate enough to see it live. Opened with a mellophone solo before the rest of the band comes in, was by far one of the most enjoyable shows I've ever seen

+PICKLE IN MOUTH My high school's band played this the year before I came in. Sadly I was never asked to be a superrookie. Q_Q. They played this, dream on, and another one I forget the name to. I have no idea why I wasn't asked to be a superrookie. All I can do is hope that our band director lets us play a show that we choose.

Speciality If you do end up doing it, do it some justice. Make it good. There was a group this year who just did a whole MCR show, Disenchanted, House of Wolves, and Welcome to the Black Parade, and they fell flat. They ended up getting 6th at a competition with 6 bands. Complete disconnect from there wind section (Who were all quite as hell I might add, quieter than their pit) and their front ensemble. Best of luck on ya though, I hope you get to do it :P

Speciality I feel ya on all the freshman, about half our band this year is freshman. We're really not that large, sitting at 45 people. Out of that we have about 7 seniors, 6 juniors (Myself included), and all the rest are sophomores and freshmen. We never really went in depth on marching basics for them, so marching is all over the place. Most of them don't play or don't maintain good tone while playing. You can hear the single mellophone over most of the band. But we're making do, still having a shit ton of fun this year :)

Unlike you, most of the people watching this appreciate marching bands and the incredible amount of work they put in. You have NO idea. I find it truely amazing how every time I listen to a marching band competition performance (I compete) I feel every note they and/or I play. Every musical climax, every drill that's set complete the whole performance. Marching band is a gift from God.

You do realize that 1) It’s an art school (if you’re not interested in art or anything that falls into the category, then sorry lmao) 2) They don’t play an emo song every year Plus it’s lowkey sad to go to a school just for the chance of playing one of your favorite songs
