For fun I would stock grenades and then run around and get everyone in the level chasing me and then lead them to the bridge and kaboom.

He asked her nicely to stand aside. You can't blame him for not being a simp or a romantic. He was born as an assassin. He could've let her live, but that would've risked his livelihood and mission. She was in his way. But yeah, they should give u a choice to not kill her. He is an assassin, but he can also be kind.

Not really. She could've lived a normal life if she wasn't a warrior. He's just sad at the fact that she had to die, because she was in his way.

@@ColossalSwordFormAndTechnique I don’t think that’s the part X Zero was talking about. But I don’t think what he was saying was necessarily sexist, either. I always thought the implication was that she was brought up to fight because those in power above her decided she was meant to be a warrior. It wasn’t her choice. In those days, it was expected that the men would have to die in battle. I think he was saying “you’re a woman, why are you expected to be a warrior?”

It's her fault for choosing the warrior path. Even Rikimaru was sad that he had to kill her, she didn't let him pass. Deep down he didn't want to kill a beautiful woman. But if he let her live. He would've failed his mission.

Yeah, if they remake this game. You should have the option to not kill her. Instead, Rikimaru tells her the beautiful life of living as a normal woman. And they both do not fight. 😊

Of course not. She didn't give him much of a choice. Either he talked to her nicely and lose the mission, or kill her and continue and complete the mission. Sometimes in life, decisions means following orders and keeping your job. Or disobey and lose your job. Simple as that. You can see deep down even Rikimaru was sad at the fact that he had to kill her. She was beautiful and could've found a handsome boyfriend and lived a happy normal life.
