Best song for me. I usually listen to Tenchu Original Soundtrack. Tenchu was my first game when I bought the console in 1998. Games were very expensive here in Brazil but now the price became cheaper with the unlocked consoles. I also love to play this game sometimes to remember my childhood when I was 14 years old and my best friend loved to see me playing this f*cking awesome game of all the time. Old times never come back...

I came looking for this game because of the music in this level, epic and unforgettable.

I agree, epic music. This level made me wanna do reserch at school to see if something this cool ever really happened in japan. Sadly, no not quite, but there were similar events involving chinese and mongolian pirates. The Europeans first made contact with Japan in the 16th century in the late feudal era and mantained peaceful trade with Japan up until WW2...so uh, yeah..... no pirates.

I always thought it was such a cool touch they had the Spaniard speaking Spanish, really helped with world building.

Down with arrow key, then up with arrow key, then x. for an epic and higher front flip into and back flip jump. And crouching uppercut slash, for knockdowns. Also jump to walls, for a wall jumping front flip into a cleaving strike. This is what today’s game is missing. It focuses only on the left joystick.

I also wated to ask, what the hell do they say when they catch you? And has anyone played this with the Japanese voiceover? Captain Balmer uses completely different spanish and says something different all together.

at 1:50 and 2:40 i prefer to R1 square the enemy so they fall into the ocean,,daamn that feel good..lol

!! May I introduce a very easy way to kill this boss? 1. Jump into the water. 2.The boss will soon follow you into the water. 3.He will suddenly dies. (Actaully all enemies in this game fear of water.)
