I watched a reaction video of this performance by Lara in which the host played this video for his mother who is close to 90 years old and is Italian and didn't speak any English. It moved her to tears and she said Lara's Italian was perfect, 100%. Lara speaks four languages fluently and sings in 9 different languages total. She's beyond amazing and might I add very easy on the eyes!

This performance is one of many great performances from Lara's concert "From Lara with Love - 1999" when she was 29. In this concert she sings in French, Spanish, Italian & English. Several of the songs from this concert Lara wrote the lyrics to are: Adagio, Broken Vow, Yeliel (My angel) and You are not from Here. BTW, Lara is Dimash's idol and has performed with Lara a few times.

I have loved & enjoyed many vocalists/performers, but until I discovered Fabian a few years ago, I'd escaped becoming an utterly obsessed stan. Ah well. 😂 Her sensitive choices are brilliant, backed up by insane technical chops. Lovely reaction. Thank you.

If you haven't already seen her sing "Je Suis Malade" please react to that (with English and French Subtitles). It's even more emotional than this and shows off her voice even more. Also "Broken Vow" in English is another great one. I rarely listen to women singers because I find male voices so much more pleasing to my ear but I am also obsessed with her. Great reaction!

“Less is more” in the most Sacred of places & situations. I felt like you the first I heard Lara sing. She grasp the very soul & left me breathless within seconds. Italian is truly such a beautiful language, she deliberately used breathes to accentuate the message, her cantor & body movements enchanting delivery assisted in communicating her song. Lovely. ❤️✌🏼

What she does is thanks to 10 years of study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, she started at a very young age, at 8 years old to be exact, then she moved to Canada where she launched her artistic career, a great musical career.

SHE IS INCREDIBLE! So, from the same concert but with full band, you have to react to Adagio and especially Je Suis Malade. However do the versions from this concert as they are spectacular! The Concert being "From Lara with Love". Trust me, ESPECIALLY Je Suis Malade!!!!!! OMFG, I cry!

Your review of this performance was heartfelt and spot on. Yet, I was sad and disappointed by one gaping hole in it. Enrico Caruso was the GOAT, Greatest Of All Tenors, and as a European Tenor I was hoping you would at least give him a mention. For background there are some 250 recordings of him singing, and he made a couple of film appearances. He was as big as Pavarotti and Messi rolled into one, and this song is a retrospective of his career, as well as a depiction ot the last week of his life, at age 48 he died of peritonitis, a blood poisoning that is "in the vens, you know."

In regards to Lara I would suggest a change in your format only because she does so so much in a performance that you inevitably miss things. You mentioned earlier about not stopping the flow and you were right on track. You seemed to miss Lara's ability to switch from talking her lyrics to singing them! I would suggest that you watch her videos in their entirety then watch them again while commenting about it...Just a suggestion! You don't want to miss a single thing this amazing artist has to offer
