Funny how a lot of people are complaining about the cost. I have been doing overland off road for years in a two door TJ loaded down to the max. Glad to see TeraFlex getting into this. I'll be ordering the new rubicon 4 door JL as soon as the pre orders opens. One thing I have learned with off roading. You get what you pay for. When your spending 3-5 days and four to five hours away from payment or help your jeep is your safety vehicle to get you home, spend the money on the best!. On their roof rack, they need to build a full roof rack if they want the overland guys. I would also suggest seriously testing the products before selling it to the overland folks. I had a 4" suspension lift with 1" body lift. No problems on bottoming out my shocks. Once I'm loaded down? Shocks would bottom out. Went with TeraFlex 5" springs and solved my problem.

Love it!! Love my Teraflex kit. :D

I like Teraflex, and I will be going with this lift kit. I found it funny on this video you show the kit, speak highly of it, then replace both the springs and control arm. So this rig is not really running the 3" s/t. Just saying.

Love the name just got my order in on The ST3 lift. Falcon Nexus stabilizer and those bad to the bone Falcon 3.3 piggyback fast adjustable shocks can't wait to get those on and see how they do. Hopefully that 4 week delay won't exceed that on those shocks. I'll post up when it gets done ✌🏻

The roof rack is awesome! I like the idea of keeping the air compressor clean but it is rather noisy.

Regardless of how many people say the greatness of Aev stuff, I’m stick with teraflex, and got 2.5 lift with shock, working well. And their informative video gives jeepers a lot of valuable advice if you don’t know much of mechanical issues.

Beautiful build.. A functional & efficient work of art. I'm in the process of ordering a '17 75th 2dr (Overland Coupe?..). It'll be mostly for lighter duty overlanding & trails, as well as a father-son collectible project to build until we get serious with the new body style in a year or 2.. I plan on using the a Mopar hi top fenders with a shorter (2.5") lift to clear 37s but keep it on-road friendly.. Would you recommend an overland-focused kit like this, the long arm LCG, or Pre-runner 2.5"? Thanks in advance - JB

Sick build!! It's like you know what my build-list looks like lol ... question though, how did you mount the SPOD HD to your new sun visor rod? I'm looking to have the same setup once I get my hands on both of those ... thanks!

So given that most of us will not have that sort of money laying around, what would be a step by step approach to aim for this build? I guess starting with CT3 suspension, but then again even some components for that have been changed, alpine long arms, heavy duty springs etc. I would love to build my 17 rubicon but not all at once, any suggestions?

Jackal's Outdoor Channel is that even possible? It would be awesome.
@Jonesdawg796 жыл бұрын
It is. There are some companies that do diesel swaps. They are quite expensive though. Also, if your state does smog tests, they can really only be used for off road use only...

you strapped a $400 double compressor, maybe the best in the market, under a seat that can run both the air lockers AND air tools (if need be) and then you added an air tank to the back?? Geez, overkill much?

Man this jeep is completly insane, lucky man that drives it ! These guy's are so freekin lucky that they have the oportunity to build something like that and are even luckier to have sponsors to give em stuff ! No ordinary person like us will ever be given any goodies for free ! Gotta have money to make money, never changes....!

This build most likely cost more than a brand new Land Rover. I just don't see the point in spending that much on a Jeep. It's nice looking but it's also way too much money to throw at a jeep.
@christiand67687 жыл бұрын
What´s wrong with spending money on a jeep? I rather spend money on a jk wrangler then on a Land Rover.
