When Sean Connery quit the role of James Bond, producers began a casting search that ended with the talented but inexperienced George Lazenby assuming the role. Terence Cooper was an actor with far more experience than Lazenby but he had the misfortune of appearing in the James Bond spoof "Casino Royale"(1967) just before Connery quit. Apparently, he was never considered for the role even though he handles the part with ease, appearing with screen legend David Niven, dozens of beautiful women and performing his own stunts in fight scenes. Here's a glimpse of what might have been. (Apologies for the subtitles. And Star Wars fans should keep an eye out for David Prowse ,the original Darth Vader, as the Frankenstein Monster.)
