It's a cultural thing and there's nothing to imply negative over here. My daughter calls the teacher by their names. She does use Ms./Mrs. or Mr. depending on the gender. Not like Sir or Madam, which we used to say in Indian school. Fun fact, try calling someone Sir or Madam in USA, and most likely they'll ask you to call them by their name and not to use Sir/Madam/

@@KripaSingh even in the West, calling some dude's parents by their first name is usually reserved for in-laws, close friends or related family members. First name usage is often informal in the Western education sector to form close mentor/mentee bonds.

Jaby liked the movie Blade Runner 2049 which also talked about this Humanoids were not just in a relationship with humans but also able reproducing. Jaby aknowledged the scary times and indeed scary times are coming.

In India (& neighbouring contries) we never call mother/Father in Law by their names. Its not a good manner. We call them Mom or Dad or aunt/uncle (specifically MAMA/MAMI) It makes relation more stronger & bond between two families. I think its necessary to follow such ideas, specially new generation needs more SANSKAR.

Jaby is making the best points in this whole video. Just saying we might not be humans isn’t a justification to being reliant on AI or treating AI like Human. We are humans. We can clearly see how social media affects us. Saying we are probably programs; that means people committing suicidee doesn’t mean anything. They are just programs killing themselves. We are not programs, we are humans. Just the way social media is affecting all of us. AI will too, people forgetting human connection, relying completely on a fake virtual life.

It reminds me of Zettai Kareshi. (Japanese series). One of the first series i saw with basically the same concept, and that was back in 2008. AI is definitely a thing right now though. Not as perfect yet as this robot but digitally it's already happening on screen.

Finally!! A seemingly original rom-com (until someone points out this is remake of korean or malaysian movie) that I can go and watch with family in theatres. This looks like deus ex machina, HER, small wonder, terminator all put in blender and made into Indian sabzi served with naan.
