I freaking love Rypdal's guitar-playing and have from the first time I heard it, almost 40 years ago. And thes muisicians he played with are all aweome too.

Not only breathtaking fjords in Norway. Also some jazz legends whose music touches the soul of plenty since 50 years or so.

The music of Rypdal &Mikkelborg woke me up in the city of Oxford and sińce that time I became a notorious listener of my ECM heroes.Wojciech Pawłowski .

Terje is a unique musician, always interesting and creative, with good taste in musical collaborators. I love the wonderful uploads of Terje that are appearing on KZfaq-thank you.

There is no one who plays the guitar like Terje Rypdal. I am so glad to see more quality videos of him turn up on KZfaq. I will never be able to travel to Europe to see and hear him perform and it is pretty darn unlikely that he will ever travel to the states to play.

Terje Rypdal is THE Ultimate Electric Guitarist for me! It's mind-boggling that he is not revered as the living Torch-bearer of Hendrix's legacy! As a Texturalist - he has no peers, except maybe - David Torn, and Brandon Ross (Harriet Tubman). He is in that Guitar Pantheon of players like McLaughlin, Abercrombie, Holdsworth, Kurt Rosenwinkel ... but on Mount Olympus - he is Zeus!

This is incredible, I have came back to listen to this many times. Terje is a true original, he plays like no other!! and of course all the players are amazing as well. I'm thankful that there are musicians like this in the world, that take their own path. Bravo! and thank you for the upload

The drummer Paolo passed away in Oslo today after battling pancreatic cancer for ten years.

this is more than awesome. saw them live in Warsaw year ago - unforgettable!

Can anyone explain what happens to Palle´s trumpet starting 8:34? I hear the trumpets notes before he actually plays. I know about the issues of old magnet tape recordings. But this is strange, since I expect this a digital recording.

Is it just me or is there a strange pre-echo of the audio on this? Great concert and footage though! - just strange to hear a preview of each note...

It is nonetheless quite sad to see him in this bloated physical condition. At an Oslo concert, he was also walking with a cane. Great music but very sad.:(

Why is Rypdal wearing the watch on his left wrist ? Look at the other three musicians. None of them does... It's so politically way correct and I see anticipation of His demise ( vide CONSPIRACY).....RIP Terje.
