Another great video, Bino! Any chance sometime down the line you could go over saddles? As in, what all the loops and such are best used for? I'm sure some things are better than others for their uses. Thanks again, Bill

Thanks Bino! I am going to take the skills part of the certified tree climber exam in February. Can you use a split tail with a blakes as part of your climbing system, and do you get to decide this as part of the exam?

Yes you can. If you have a spliced I you should have the safety information on it. Also if you have a small spliced I you make sure you carabiner does not side load. If you have a large eye you'll want to girth hitch it to your hardware. A split tail with a termination knot will also work.
