There is a lot great about this, but I wonder, with the same plot, perhaps having a better John Connor (perhaps if Ed Furlong had been able to clean up his act) and maybe a lot less campy, would it have received better reviews? Some things would have definitely been still not so okay, like the really rough CG in some scenes and the lack of Linda Hamilton's character. Also, the TX is definitely not as menacing as the original T 800 or T1000 (but I like the idea of the antagonist Terminator being a female so that it would be an extra challenge to the image of ultra masculine Arnold). So that would still pull the overall score down. But I felt the overall movie was still super solid, as it answered the "plot hole" in T2 cause the T800 left his arm in the machine, so there was going to inevitable that Skynet would return. Also the grim ending is fantastic IMO.

They do, and this Terminator would be the one that Katherine Brewster would send to the past after John’s death in the Future War.

You're one movie too late on when this franchise should have ended.

The only problem I had with this movie was John Conor character. John Conor in T2 was perfect. This one was a total opposite of T2.

Terminator 3 is definitely underrated 😊

Upto Salvation the franchise was great I loved it so much. I was very looking forward to the Salvation sequels. I don't understand why people hated T3 and Salvation. They were GREAT films💖💖💖💖💖💖. People always want the sequels to be as good as T2. But those stupid people don't understand this that it is actually impossible to re-create a classic.

We just need a terminator to go back in time to stop the production of dark fate.

While not spectacular, they at least tried to break the mold and something a little different. It was better than T3.

If you look close the blast door is on his chest/shoulder, which totally makes sense with being a future AI designed metal frame. Skynet sure packed a lot of plot armor into that one.

That's mostly true, I feel like T3 was the heart attack and Salvation was it's final beat. After Terminator Salvation, everything else was a dead horse.

With time travel you can't end a story. T2 was the epic masterpiece, but before the events of T1 we still ended up making terminators and skynet leading to everything we've seen so far. Judgment day is inevitable.

No T2 contradicted the original and convoluted the story T3 rectified those errors and brought it full circle. Since the story was completed in the original T2 wasn’t needed at all.

T3 is a great movie I agree the franchise should have ended after this one. T3 is my personal favorite as well but objectively the original is easily the best film in the franchise I personally find T2 massively overrated. For me it’s the weakest out of the first 3 as for dark fate a lot of the issues in that movie come from the dumb ideas that T2 implemented.

This film was great. You are worst. Because of people like you we got films like Genisys and Dark Fate.
