And that is why you carry a flare gun. Anyone camping solo in the middle of nowhere should have one or at least a flare. A flare in the air has around 3 minutes of burn time and it brightens the area almost like day time. I would never go out without one.

As someone who does a lot of night-time exploration, my absolute number 1 pro tip if you think you're being followed is to acknowledge the fact you probably are, and asserting yourself as something you wouldn't want to be following. A simple "I can see you" yell often does the trick, but other things I recommend are not using a flashlight (allow your eyes to adjust to the darkness), making sure you're familiar with the area in daylight before going at night, and just not attempting to be stealthy, instead make yourself known. (Or you can act batshit insane, nobody is following you if you start screaming)

alwas trust your gut on if you think youre being watched or followed. Its actually part of our animal instincts still left over from the ye old days whenever we were oooga booga cavemen. But i know it sounds crazy you can feel when eyes are on you ive been walking down a pitch black road before and i dead stopped walking turned around looked into the darkness and stood still and then waited..1-2 minutes go by and i hear footsteps trying to be light and then i called out and crazy bitch started to chase me down. lol was my friends then EX and it was a crazy night having to get his stuff from her house she did have a knife and a little unstable but see I knew she was there pitch black dark no lights on the road no lights from my phone pure black and I knew someone was there.

Yeah one time i explored an abandined building in the middle of West Virginia and some guy cam into the building and screamed after he saw me. Turns out there was a tribelike grouo of people who lived in the woods. Scared the shit out of me

Carry a fucking gun when in the woods. In most of the US, it's perfectly legal. Most creeps who may want to play some unsavory tricks when in the great outdoors tend to reconsider when facing a .44 Magnum revolver or a pump-action shotgun. That also includes hungry wildlife.

Second video. No joke those sticks all stacked around the tree like a teepee tent shape is exactly how certain undocumented creatures(pale walkers/hominids etc.) mark their bounderies or other landmarks for them. I live in rural PA and currently am dealing with crazy stuff behind the house same exact things happening. I have footage too. Ill post here soon. just gotta move out. Talking about them and definitely posting they freakin know. its crazy. OHHH again the second video. That "Iseeyou" is wayyyy to powerfully spoken to be a girl or even a grown man. Its way to easily spoken. BUT ALSO it sounds like its copying what a human would say rather than speaking the language with how it runs all as one sound. Thats just my thoughts after dealing with multiple creatures. I DO NOT GO BACK INTO THE FOREST ANYMORE where there markings are. Every night they add more and more though. Scraped bark 30 feet up and down. Trees mauled till they are just stumps. Stacked bark in teepee shapes. HUGE CLAW MARKS in the trees and the creepiest is it clawed the top frame of the front door. It looks like a bullet hit where it mustve pushed its insanely powerful thumb or long finger into. It has tapped on the windows at night before I had curtains. It has torn siding off the house and left the same claw marks. FUCK THAT. I do not let my cats out anymore I am moving and done. DO NOT GO PAST THE TEEPEE SHAPED FEATURES.
