@@VasiliyOgniov Quarbit didn't take the most advantage of it, but natives can (at least a couple patches ago) do a humiliation war against any neighbor, which, combined with a strong native federation, means tons of monarch points for nothing. You get the war chief/peace chief event often, and it results in you being able to get all 10 traits filled out before the Europeans arrive (as well as tons of tribal lands to settle). By that point, you don't really care what your leader's trait is, as you already have 10 other good ones.

Yeah, a really nice way to reward you for doing something usually very difficult, introduce and Easter egg into a regular game (not custom nations and no saves converting), while not making it so easy as to ruin the game!

Pretty cool fact. Is the volcano or the minerals used for something or the properties known to us?

@@eafesaf6934 Properties are known to us. They're anhydrous and they react with atmospheric moisture and decompose into other minerals within hours of being erupted. There's not any practical uses, but the volcano erupts a fairly high concentration of certain rare metals compared to many other volcanoes so every now and then someone throws out the suggestion of mining it for those metals but it'd still be fairly impractical so it never happens.

nyerereite is ofc named after the first president of tanzania who was a tremendously interesting person
