Tesla Cybertruck Road Trip 2,500 Miles!! Part 1

Our Tesla Cybertruck has turned out to be quite the road trip machine! Despite some negative comments online about the Cybertruck being less than ideal for road trips, it is once again put to duty, and this time from Florida to Michigan!
The total trip is 2,600 miles, from Orlando, FL to Detroit, MI. Bringing the Cybertruck to the center of American automotive giants is sure to ruffle some feathers, but the event is being hosted at Munro and will feature a number of Cybertrucks and a close look in person of the Cybertruck torn down.
Part 1 is the trip from Florida to Michigan, including a quick stop in Indianapolis for a day before continuing on to Detroit. With enhanced charging, the Cybertruck continues to be faster at charging over time. But the biggest factor here is that the Cybertruck has been showing real world range at 80 MPH far closer to the EPA rated range than any of our other Tesla's, which is a factor no one seems to be considering when talking about the Cybertruck and supercharging.
So to wrap things up, is the Cybertruck a good road-tripper? It is absolutely a great road-tripper! It is smooth, comfortable, charges fast and has no issues getting into tight spaces. On the flip side, the lack of autopilot does make the Cybertruck less enjoyable on road trips than other Tesla’s, at least for now.

The chargers in Nashville are at a Hampton Inn. There are destination chargers there and we used them to and from Florida. Great pizza place in the same building as the hotel. This will be our go to for future trips.

I suggest you lower your suspension all the way on the hwy. Makes a big difference in my experience with my S & X.

Cyber trucks are all over the place out west. I'm in Nevada I see a gaggle of them. It's like some kind of Douchebaggery Club. They wave when they pass each other. I'm just kidding. lol. @@BeardedTeslaGuy That’s crazy, I do occasionally nap in my Cybertruck using an outdoor lounger cushion and sleeping bag. When doing so I always make sure to turn off Bluetooth so the doors remain locked, and I tinted the front windows and use the HeatShield windshield sunscreen. I haven’t had people mess with the truck but would be pissed if they did.

I’m not so sure about that. It’ll be popular but truck people are still finicky as you know. ICE culture is very strong especially when it comes to trucks. This isn’t a bad thing though because hopefully it can maintain its novelty.

Kinda of a turn-off listening to you cry about the attention you get from curious people who have never seen such a truck. Not everyone can own a $100,00+ truck. Be mindful of the fact that your life is pretty good. Rock on, your truck is a beauty.
