I got the same protector. When installing, I have problems locking in the last 2 sections. Did you have to push super hard on those tabs to lock them in?

Yes I do like an upwards hard push and you’ll hear a click.

It won’t damage your rims either I damaged one of my protectors and had to get another one it completely protected it
