What I Eat Pre & Post Workout 🌱 quick and easy meals I love to have to fuel and refuel when I’m exercising.
It depends on what time I train but generally what I eat before and after training is just whatever I have for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or in this case, post-workout smoothie was a lighter meal to get me through till I had time to make a bigger meal. If I’m feeling hungry right before my workout I’ll have a bar or some fruit.
I used to do these kinds of videos a lot on KZfaq in my let’s get fit series, and you guys loved it so let me know if you find these videos helpful for meal inspo!
Pre workout - carbs from the oats and protein from the chia seeds and soy milk
1/2-3/4 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup soy milk
1/2 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp maple syrup
- Mix together and set in the fridge for a few hours or overnight to thicken. I topped it with mango, coconut, cacao nibs and banana.
Post workout - protein from the soy milk and protein powder and carbs from the fruit.
1 banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 serving of vegan protein powder
250 ml soy milk
- Blend until creamy

How long do you wait to workout after eating?

Don’t get carried away with the specifics. Eat whenever you want after the workout or before the workout. Some of these influencers encourage overeating. You don’t have to have a pre and post workout meal. Exercise, eat healthy, eliminate or cut down on sugar and you’ll see results.

There really aren’t many specific recipes to make a smoothie you just kinda eyeball it or atleast that’s what I do and mine always come out amazing
