If anyone is wondering why I didn't like the Suntails Monofin: It was way too stiff and ridged and didn't flow with my body at all. The foot pockets were weird and kind of hard to get in and out of and the fin felt like it was working against me instead of working with me. However, that's just my opinion and if you love the Suntails monofin then it definitely works inside a Mertailor original shape Whimsy tail. 😊

I swim with the Suntails monofin all the time, though they are much stiffer and take a much different motion than softer fins, the speed you can get out of them is amazing once you’re used to them.

Do you know how an adult linden would fit in a mertailor? His whimsy line has so many better options than the guppy which is made for the linden.

I'm trying to find the same thing since I want a fantasea mertailer tail but I can't afford the mertailer monofin.

@@phoenixfeathers3337 I found one person who seemed to successfully fit a Linden in one of the skins for the FF1. Still have not been able to try it for myself and everytime I ask someone they tell me no that's what the guppy tails are for. But since my Linden fits in the finfun, and the finfun fits this I would like to think it works.

@@phoenixfeathers3337 I'm sorry that this comment is a few years old now, but for anyone returning to this video, I recently bought a a Full Fantasea tail from Mertailor which is a different material from the whimsy line, but is the same shape, so a Linden monofin can fit in the Whimsy or Fantasea line for monofin "one". The parts of it that don't "fit" exactly are that the VERY tips of the fins end up empty (but literally only like 2 inches or so, so it doesn't look weird in water at all) and end of the skin's fluke doesn't fit tight over the ridges at the end of the Linden, so when out of water it looks a little "bunched up" in spots at the very end, but in water it looks totally fine. My biggest aesthetic issue is that the Linden fins are kind of chunky around the ankles, but eh, that's just how the Linden fin is. I also have the navy blue monofin in the Showa Koi skin (which has a lot of white on the tail) and I was impressed with how you can't see the colour through it!

@@mastermarkus5307 good to know! I have a finfun monofin but I'm upgrading to a Linden here in a couple days. I absolutely fell in love with the Moon Kelp skin from mertailor so I was concerned the linden wouldn't fit. Thank you for the info!

I wish you could have tried the finis luna in this tail. I love the both the mahi-mahi and the Luna and want to use them both but need to know if it’s going to work first.

I wonder how good a fin fun mono fin would look in one of the other models of whimsey tail like the too tail ones because it’s the only mono fin I have but I want to save up for a good tail skin but the mertailor mono fins are sooo expensiveeee

They have XXS whimsy tails in the adult line and there is a kids line too so there should be one that will fit you!

I am confused, you say 8 monofina and show the mahina and never talk about it? Granted, I skimmed over just looking for you to be holding it. But, is there a reason you didn’t talk about it?
