Congratulations! I worked in women's health for years, and the heartbeat for gender is not correct on that test that I've seen many people use. Anything over 140 is a boy. I would bet the fan on that. Usually, when I watch the beginning heartbeat videos before the gender is known i guess the gender correctly 98% of the time. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy, and prayers for you and your new little family.

@@CharlenePink-Dufresne my daughter’s heart beat was over 140 (around 170 as I recall) so I don’t think that’s a very good predictor.

Congratulations to you and your hubby, I’m so glad you have been well throughout your pregnancy. I have 1 daughter and 2 boys and in my instance they should have all been boys... Our daughter just gave us our first grandchild in May and it’s been so much fun. Enjoy your little man when he gets here. 🌸🐨🌸

Congratulations! I am about to have my first grandchild and it is a little boy too. 👶🏻💙 The old wives tales were accurate for my daughter-in-law but we did a few different ones.

There is pencil trick, needle in tip with thread, and held just above your left wrist. A Dr in PA used to give away money if wrong. It will go in circle and swing toward hand if a girl, it will go in circle and then go across wrist for boy or vise versa. On men it will just keep going in circle. It works even if not pregnant. So excited for you! God bless you!

Absolutely everything on that list points to girl for us except for the one about a more curvy face... Everyone we knew had guessed girl too, including my husband and I. It was a big shock when the doctor said “you’re having a little boy!” - we’re so excited!

My son is 9 now but the one that stands out the most to me is about being clumsy. I remember when I was pregnant that I would drop everything! I would get so annoyed everyday and I even tried to purposely be more careful and would still drop stuff all the time.

Same here, when i first got pregnant (after 'only' 5 years of infertility), i knew in my heart it was a girl, which she was. Likewise, the second time I got pregnant, i immediately knew it was a boy. Both times, none of us was surprised when we found out, not even our families. No other predictors tried, but our guts. However, the pregnancies were sooo so different to each other.

I I am pregnant with you in February and I did have my son in October 27 and i was waiting for you to have your baby too and I was so happy to know it’s a boy too

Carrying High is boy not low! so I knew as soon as I saw the bump in this photo! I'm running at 100% on my guesses! The chinese chart is the most spot on. You didn't do the Ring on a string and holding it over your hand or belly, its a ring you wear and you hold it over your palm and if it starts to swing in a straight line it's a boy and if it goes in a circle it's a girl. if it just jiggles it's a lost baby. This happened for all five of mine, did the same on my husband's palm with his ring too! Of course we didn't find this out until after we had had all three of our kids but it was exact and knew there wouldn't be another then!

Did not work for me, the only things in the girl column were heart rate over 140 (it was 179 at 8 weeks) and the Chinese calendar, everything else indicated I was having a boy. Turns out I am having a baby girl and I couldn’t be happier. Ultimately a healthy baby is what every parent wants. Congratulations to you and your family.

I've been thinking about this channel a lot lately and wondering how you were. I'm so glad that all is more than well and it's a boy! I had a boy almost a year ago and I couldn't see myself as a girl mom either. I dreamt it was a boy and I never really paid attention to the wives tales because I was so sure it was going to be a boy

I was blessed with both. I had a very traumatic birth with my first (a girl) and I didn't want to have another baby. Partly because I wanted a girl and I got my girl mostly because of the trauma. Well, the guilt of not providing my daughter with a sibling and being able to as well as my husbands desire to try for a boy got the best of me. We agreed after two no more no matter the gender. Well, it was a boy! Both are special in their own rights but I am SO glad I decided to try again and am now experiencing how precious it is to have a sweet baby boy! Something I didn't even know I needed.
