I wouldn't trust those blade fuses. What's the chance that they've actually been tested and will cut if the amperage gets too high? my bet is you'll end up with melted wiring and/or a car fire before those things trip.

Firehazard,!!... I just replaced my cigarette lighter 12 v power socket fuse just about burnt the truck down fuse never burnt. Melted but still carried the current
