Here is our "Way To Early" 2024 Texas Longhorns football predictions video for every college football game of the 2024 season.
We're going to go game by game and break each matchup down. Along the way we will predict the final outcome of each matchup, and predict Alabamas final record on the season.
The SEC as a whole has gone through massive changes this year. The BIG 10 has added Washington, USC, UCLA and Oregon Ducks. We have the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners coming into the SEC conference. The road to the SEC championship is now more difficult. We have also had Nick Saban, the GOAT himself retire. We welcome in Kalen Deboer as the new Head Coach of the Crimson Tide. Kirby Smart though is still in charge in the SEC conference. The college football playoffs have also expanded to 12 teams now starting this year. Brent Venables looks to compete with other SEC coaches. Dan Lanning is re tooling. Steve Sarkisian is searching for his first national championship.
Let's take a close look at each of these games being of season to end.

I think my Texas Longhorns go 12-0 however I could see us losing one game and the one that I could see us losing is the home game against Georgia

I agree Texas loses one, but I’m thinking they lose to Michigan. Catcher them off guard. So an early season loss

@@3rd-And-Long I don't know why people think that Texas is so far ahead of Oklahoma Texas only won one more game than Oklahoma last season and they lost to Oklahoma

@@jdwilmoth they won 2 more and made the CFP. I agree there isn’t much of a talent gap though. If OK wins I wouldn’t be surprised at all. I think TX bringing back a 3rd year starter is what gives them the edge. But I hear you on that one

I think you take beating Michigan, Georgia AND Oklahoma and finishing 11-1.

Yeah with that brutal schedule 11-1 would be quite the accomplishment

This is not an easy schedule. I think you're underestimating some teams. Realistically i think the season will be more like 8-4.

That is very possible. I can see how that can happen. Texas fans will be very disappointed for that under whelming of a season. But yeah I can see how it can happen, good point

That would be a massive let down lol, but it can happen. I think TX is prepared talent wise for SEC. They did beat the reigning Sec champ during season last year. But we’ve seen massive let downs before so that’s possible

Oklahoma will beat Texas again I don't know why people think Texas is so far ahead of Oklahoma they only won one more game than Oklahoma last season and Oklahoma did beat them

Well they made the CFP so that will do it. I get what your saying though. There isn’t a large talent gap between these 2 teams. But Texas is returning their starting QB so I think that gives them an early advantage. Like you mentioned though I would not be surprised at all if Ok wins it

Texas A$m is going to win. Texas Will go 10-2. They lost too many weapons last year to draft. Lose to Aggies and Georgia

Texad is losing to Michigan and UGA. You must not follow the SEC much. Some of you SEC takes are really bad.

Respected. I disagree, but respected. Michigan will still have a good defense but their offense is completely overhauled. But again it’s a top 10 match up so it’s possible
