A minor fender-bender can turn into a major case of "road rage." That's what happened when Jonathan Ables and Crystal Scott were both driving to work the morning of Sept. 17, 2012. But only one of them had a gun, and only one went home alive. From 2016: bit.ly/3DaftEG

Here in TX, you can safely assume everyone is carrying. If someone on the road pisses you off, let it go. It's not that serious and it's not worth your life.

Jesus that's total madness! Why on earth are ordinary people carrying loaded guns? It's not the wild west! Don't they worry about kids getting hold of their gun and accidentally causing a tragedy? US gun laws are insane.

@@samanthamorgan8117 lol I've always wondered why that downvote is even there. Just for sh*ts and giggles, I guess. You're the 1st person that mentions it tho lol You must be a safe gun owner. As am I. I really don't get other countries where not even the police can carry but their fatal incidents are way fewer then ours maybe because guns are so accessible here in the US? Like in Mexico, honest citizens cannot carry a small knife much less a gun or they run the risk of going to prison hence all the corruption even from law enforcement it's so sad.

You are right They are painting a narrative, and after hearing all of it I understand why. She murdered the kid, woman or man black or white that’s what happened. He should have stayed in the car & called police but he did not. Does not make it justified just difficult to prove. As far as the single mother thing, that gets deep . The overwhelming majority of black children are born out of wedlock and marriages end up in higher divorce numbers or never get married at all. It’s because of nasty attitudes, which is why wealthy black men seek out other races or ethnicities. Most people still view the baby daddy thing as trashy, rightfully so but that is changing as people’s minds are being warped via programming. Maury povich has made a Career out of baby daddy/momma drama for all races and ethnicities (predominantly black) as an inside joke or maybe just to spotlight foolish impulsive behavior. When you stop trying to defend or justify these things is when communities will get it together, until then things will get worse. So ultimately they are painting a narrative but it’s so much deeper than it seems.

@@warrenmasonjeffs6712 like I stated before, this was my first time and my last time actually looking at this show, but since I am up, I'll respond and then I really must run. I don't live in Texas, or a concealed, open carry, stand your own ground state or anyplace close that has those laws because situations such as this tragedy are bound to occur. Road rage occurs other places but when you add legal, readily available, guns to the mix and a law such as this, things can go south very quickly. Now, racism and white supremacy is present everywhere. It's the way we've been conditioned, but it seems as though red states reek of it and out of ignorance you think that your feelings are actually fact. Mind you, you don't have to be white to be a white supremacist and there are more than a few black male mysogynoirists. Unless we get honest about whatever stereotypes we hold and the fact that they are not true, it will cross us up every time. Sadly, the stereotype of black women being violent as a opposed to peaceful, guilty as opposed to innocent, and older and more experienced as opposed to younger and naive, calculating liars as opposed to being honest and believable is an enduring one. I don't really watch Maury Povich, but I would recommend that you maybe look at something that doesn't quite confirm your stereotypes that seem to have you bobbing your head in affirmation, confirming and reinforcing them in your mind as you watch. I sure as hell wouldn't base any opinions on it and I sure as hell wouldn't put it out there that I am using it as any true guide to any argument I might make. But then you're watching this, so you've fallen for the bait already and maybe you're young. The law should be applied equally, yet you think she murdered him. There's hardly an age gap between the two, yet you called this engaged, old enough to get married, grown ass man a kid and because she is a single mother, you feel as though she's what....not? Never mind. Anyway, have a nice day. Stay safe everybody. 😷

Do you honestly believe that version of the story? A guy whose car absorbed a stray bullet while he was on the scene putting gas in his car testified to the fact that Jonathan was not anything as aggressive as is claimed by Crystal otherwise he would have heard the whole commotion. After hearing that I can't help thinking that a gun was used simply because it was convenient and handy at the time. Gun-carry should go hand-in-hand with common sense and being responsible. You shouldn't have your hands on one if you're nearly as impulsive as every indication suggests about this lady. Period.

Even in a gas station! Americans need to learn good language too! Don't approach to insult, belittle, hurt or take someone for granted. Americans need to learn self-control, emotional control, and forgiveness! And that life ain't that serious that you have already thought of yourself as bigger than the other and you can kill to make your point heard! Accept you are just human and all we are approaching regardless of our wealth, jobs, life is simply DEATH. @@cristiangomez4537 What logic doesn’t make sense? You do know his finger print and handprint were actually found on her car right? You are aware several witnesses even said he tried opening her car door several times right? What did she lie about? Please explain. Because even according to Harris County District Attorney’s office (which btw this is where I live) not only did they drop the charges but they apologized to HER. They tried to get his fingerprints on her car thrown out in court and then when the judge ruled they couldn’t they dropped all of the charges. And also, hun. In Texas you don’t have to fear a goddamn thing. His parents used the word fear. Fear has nothing to do with Stand Your Ground laws. It simply states you don’t have to retreat if you suspect someone is trying to harm you or your loved ones. Why was he trying to open her car doors? Explain that. It’s a tragedy and I feel for his family, but they’re acting like he’s an innocent victim who did nothing wrong, when his behavior was just as dangerous and erratic as hers. Do I think his intent was to harm her? Honestly, no. I’m sure he was just trying to have a big man moment/scare the shit out of her. And unfortunately for him, he picked the wrong fight.

I believe he provoked what happened and what happened to him is what he intended to happen to her. But the gf not even being able to say anything good or I'm depth about the bf and the mom agreeing with her son's fate while the lawyer was talking, I believe at least those two are able to admit and acknowledge his problems and the fact that he likely did provoke it. 🤷🏾‍♀️ If this happened in reverse or the way he intended it to go when he first approached her out of "road rage" and maybe even racial motivation, the deceased Aggressor certainly wouldn't be portrayed as a victim

I maintained my speed - which was 5 mph over - and turned at a light...he flew around me and got on someone else's tail. Believe me, I wanted to turn on the back wiper fluid but... Somebody yelling at you outside your car is not "threatening your life". The man didn't touch the car, bang on the car, punch the window or anything of the sort. He didn't try to get in the car to reach her. He had his hands in the air showing compliance when she pointed the gun at him. Her life was not being threatened, she was being yelled at. To pull out a gun and shoot somebody in the chest, out of anger and hatred along with uncontrolled emotions, shows that this person belongs in prison and is a danger to others. All the guy did was yell at her.... he didn't have any weapon in his hands. There's nothing life-threatening about this situation. The fact that she cussed at him and mocked him after killing him shows how evil she is. That shows her true heart. If you get angry at somebody these days, do not walk up to them and start yelling at them. You could die. Because of people like this that can get away with murder.
