The contrast between crocodile and doffy's end is also poetic, crocodile being the ground/soil getting his end by being sent flying to the sky while doffy the heavenly demon gets smashed to the ground.

Oda is trying a lot of new (to him) stuff in post timeskip and I love that you'll get to see how he grows as a writer and an artist as the series goes along. He would repeat similar concept/character but more polished in future arcs

If the Warlords are based off the Seven Deadly Sins. Then Doflamingo is based off Gluttony: • The name Beelzebub, is another alias for "The Devil", or another devil entirely. Which holds the title for the Sin of Gluttony, and his strength and authority in hell rivaled Lucifer and Satan. He was also known as the Lord of the Flies, and looked like a evil butterfly. Some insects and arachnids are known to produce silk like substance in the form of string. Plus Luffy's alias Lucy could be a reference to Lucifer, the devil of Pride who gave devils and humans the tools needed to fight the heavens. Even though Jinbie is the Warlord that represents the sin of Pride. • Even thought the circumstances are different. He places his hand around his stomach. Which is the notion of hunger. Which is what someone would do to try and settle their stomach. Even thought it's to try and repair his external organs. • He has experienced every pleasure known to man. Wealth, luxury, devotion, and entertainment. Which separates him from Crocodile who I think represents Greed. As they both seem to overlap with each other in terms of personalities, character designs, and other traits. As does the meaning of Greed (Ambition and Material Gain) and Gluttony (Sustenance and Pleasure).

when in dressrosa you were given three princesses and the real princess of this show was Law hahaha lol! So Yes Doffy falling is a nice symbolism when he see himself as a celestial dragon that has been defeated. and there is Crocodile when Luffy defeat him he was punch up to the sky, as if to reveal his secrets like the plan to take over the throne the baroque works organization and the war he plan are all exposed.

If Robin awakened would she be able to grow part of her body literally anywhere? would she turn everything around her into flesh? Chopper's DF would turn him into even more human? Or maybe make him even smarter than Vegapunk? To begin with, Chopper could maybe count as awakened already, since he managed to discover many more forms that Zoan fruit users have never managed to use before. Devil fruits are still very mysterious things.

I think it's more about how Oda wrote her. Firstly she's like 15, and basically wearing a bra and panties. And then, she really doesn't get a moment to shine much because "women shouldn't fight" but she had a decent amount of build up during the tournament part of the arc. It's just a kind of character Oda has done a lot throughout the series, Vivi, Asia, Shirahoshi, and Oda did a much better job with them, than Rebecca. And to top it off, reading this Arc week to week, became tough, let alone watching like 10 minutes that's worth something, out of a 23 minute episode each week.

Dressrosa is the worst pacing in the entire series, so it is totally reasonable not to love everything about it. It literally had more episodes than the manga had chapters, so they milked the shit out of it.

dont forget Doffy was able to withstand G4, Luffy was only able to win because he got help to recover. Doffy was stronger.

Meanwhile he could have one shot him out of the gate with KKG and lets not forget about what we know from WCI and stop pretending that if Luffy hadn't done that from the start that he wouldn't have ended the arc in a handful of episodes. Oda has stated he nerfs Luffy at the start of each arc to drag them out for the narrative, because if he goes all out from the start then he wouldn't have time to tell the story.

Mihawk, Hancock and Jinbe top 3 of the warlords? And yes Dressrosa is the worst pacing in the entire anime, more episodes than manga chapters.
