what month did you go?

@@cardosoexotics August one year and September another for about a month all up. It only rained longer once or twice (once was all day)

@@amarsh14 I'm going there this late august to mid september, and the wife is worried she won't catch the sun haha My father has been there over 30 times and tells me that on the east coast I'll probably have luck with the weather but idk, I'm worried it'll rain more than it'll be sunny

I just randomly checked your channel. I hope you're enjoying Shanghai I really miss living there and would return if the situation were different. Christian has talked about missing the moments which is why now that he is is in the position to he sometimes steps back and takes breaks where he does not film. But, in the beginning he did talk about how he often felt not there as there was a lot of pressure to get that great sunrise clip or thinking how to best capture a moment rather than living in it. I think it would be best to try and practice mindfulness as you're going about your creator journey.

I think it would be like that for alot of people, if the situation was differnt they would come back... 😪 & thanks for that insight. practicing mindfulness is a great way to take a step back and admire where you are before sharing it. something I've got allow myself to do. thanks for this!

Not trueee. The weather in Finnland can be so good! especially in summer when the sun doesnt set. I've been there mutiple times in summer at 30++ °C

@@taramaurer9448 You waiting that weather 10 months or longer and might be that the summer is cloudy and rainy... But if has good summer then we get 2 months of nightless night, night is as bright as day. Then people complain that they can't sleep because too bright. Also can be that has cold summer so not get even +20 warm.

Vloggers don't usually meet members of the community. Vloggers are busy and don't have time for such meetings. If you happen to meet them somewhere, then you can just say hello, that's no problem.

Yeah, that's what I hated when I even tried to do vlogging. I did two and that was too much time consuming. It takes away all the joy from being present at the moment. Well, not ALL, but most of it for sure, as you have to ACT in a way that suits the vlog, you need to DO things the way they would suit the vlog, so basically all you're doing is being focused on the end result. Which is such a wrong thing when being in such beauiful places. I ended up doing two vlogs. I'd rather be like Kold. Doing some crazy ass videos that maybe don't get too much of a regular community, but are meaningful. Don't get me wrong Chris, I love your work. I even commented one of your videos saying something like "Oh, your positive attitude and a sincere joy is what makes you different from Kold", but that's the thing. Kold is not the kind of a person to do vlogs. I personally think he's much of a poseur, BUT he's a talented content-creator. That's what he does and is good at. But honestly, I don't think I'd like to meet Kold in real life. But I'd for sure like to meet Chris in real life and get a mango smoothie. @Chris, up for a mango smoothie on Phangan? : )

I believe that he has done it so often that it doesn’t take him a week to edit his material for posting a vlog. Plus, he has a lot of self taught shortcuts to make his job easier. Plus, he knows how to use the numerous types of equipment that he uses. Unlike a person who is new to making videos, which would take a long time due to the learning curb going on!

@@elsienorback7689 Yeah, sure, vlogs do not take as much time as these "videoclip-like-videos", where you need to put fx, take care of the background, colour grading, pacing etc. So I'm not talking about post production. I'm talking about all the time it takes to get the footage in the first place. Instead of being yourself and being present at the very moment you just think about the sequence of your clips, thus what to say, what to do, how to act/react. I'm not saying it's bad. All I'm trying to say is that it's like a full time job. Unless you don't care about the content quality. But Chris does and I'm just aware of how time consuming it is.
