Very nostalgic for me because as a nine year old I rode on a Bristol LG5 around 1959 on my first bus ride with my Dad driving he was know as Robbie, and and well known on the Thames Valley having work for them for over 35 years. I lived in Fleet and the number 12 passed through from Aldershot bust station to Reading Railway station. Thames Valley shared the service and always used a Dennis Loline 2. Aldershot & District used a Dennis K4 tin front.
