OMG I remember going in to my office every single whatever morning and the conversation was about a singing show. I lived on a sailboat and would come in after a few days on our boat at anchor and think, “I saw dolphins & whales”. And I don’t think I’ve watched any shows you mentioned, but I’d watch Schitt’s Creek another time. Or two.

I just want to say that I'm under chemo and your videos make me laugh...I was so excited when you went on the Amazing Race...then disappointed when they had to stall the show due to covid...then excited again when you they restarted the race and you came back...git rrreeeaallly excited when you won...congrats and keep making my day with your videos❤❤

There are like a billion streaming services now that you have to pay for a subscription each I still remember when, and I'm old enough to have experienced, a time when we had 3 network channels, one local channel and PBS and that was it. We didn't even have VCRs back then, so if you missed your show, you'd have to wait for the summer reruns to see it

This is 100% me, minus the anger. I just get super excited and try to force them to come over and watch it. My greatest success so far is having one friend go through all of "Breaking Bad," and we're not on season 1 of "Better Call Saul." Win!

Yes 30 Rock & P&Rec - other shows I binged of that era: Psych, the Mentalist, Flashpoint, Black Sails, Hot in Cleveland - all of them great but the latter being just wonderfully consistently warmly ridiculous / hilarious, clever and well written. As for Black Sails, well, that was just on a whole other level. Like watching a Jerry Bruckheimer movie every episode. And much better than GOT! 👍

😂🤣🤣 I feel a little too seen. Lol I have JUST finished watching Ted Lasso and now feel the same way. And I have more than once said that Leslie Knope is a National Treasure 🎉. Although I have never actually broken a bottle or anything but I have invited people over to watch fav movies and shows. 😅 Due to untreated sleep Apnea I have also fallen asleep during essentially keeping them hostage.

When your spouse LOVES (aka worships) a show that you gave it your all and nothing about it appeals to you- AT ALL... but that's all they want to talk about, and quote, and tell you when the stars birthdays are, and send you memes and jokes and quotes about, and just so much..... And you love a show beyond reason but don't want to share it with them because you KNOW they'll pick it apart like a bad knit job and put it down/mock, so you just don't talk about it and that makes you rather sad (and a bit angry).

LOL! This is perfect. Some people become way too invested in TV show. That said, if I find someone that's watched the same TV, movies or theater shows (like Rocky Horror, Blazing Saddles, Monty Python, etc) it's cool when you can bounce funny dialogue off each other - or at least get a "reference" that's made. Actually, same with music. So people of certain generations or interests can understand each other's jokes/references. But it's not a requirement.
