The story of Bruce scaring Burt reminds me of college days when a friend and I staged a couple of fake altercations just to see how bystanders would react. We quickly learned that it wasn't wise to do that on our small campus, though, because rumours spread like wildfire and our friends started wondering what was going on! 😁

Yelling or screaming when you hit is a very common thing in martial arts. It's done so that you hit the person/thing you're striking harder, or as a way to scare a person you're fighting.

When I was a kid watching the Green Hornet in Hong Kong in the 60s, I have no recollection of it being called The Kato Show. I asked my friends that lived in Hong Kong during that time, neither of them recall this fact. Hahaha

In all my years of being a Bruce Lee fan, I have never heard the metal shavings-in-the-punch-bag thing before. Given that Bruce was adverse to breaking stuff with his hands for show "I would probably break my hand and foot" (Pierre Burton Show interview), it seems unlikely. Plus, sharp bits of metal would tear through the bag and ruin it. ...There's a story James Coburn (whom Bruce trained for a time) often told about Bruce kicking a bag so hard that "old rags...or whatever it was filled with" (Curse of the Dragon documentary) exploded out into Bruce's yard; no mention of metal. I'll have to call bullshit on the metal shavings. Please enlighten me, anyone?!

Actually mate Kenshiro doesn't "punch them so hard" it's more of a pressure point plus energy nonsense to make the body kill itself, Strength doesn't really effect much. That's why some nerds have argued he could beat Goku? Just wanted to clarify BTW love your work.

@@mucura1 The fact that Goku got Chi-Chi pregnant suggests there must be some coincidental genetic affinity between human and Sayians. That theory is even further accentuated by the fact Gohan was able to have Pan, proving that human-saiyan hybrids are fertile.

@@devalphamon7289 that's not necessarily the case. The way I have always seen Saiyans is as epigenetic creatures. Ones that can subsconciously turn on genes after birth. We can observe epigenetic traits manifesting in humans all the time although not even our subconcious can do that. Thats why saiyans can breed with humans because their genes can be switched on through training their subconcious. That would explain their powers and new levels they reach. So they could have turned on the genes that would allow them to procreate while being different internally. Lol. Of course this is fiction, but the science for the opposite viewpoint is also very viable.
