The SnyderVerse is his trilogy (Man of Steel, BvS and ZSJL). The DCEU is an Extension that includes the rest of the movies. I think there’s a misunderstanding on that aspect.

I one hundred percent agree. DC shouldn't be for children or Marvel type fans. If the audience and children want to see DC movies watch the animation or past live iterations where he's a goody two shoes. DC is meant to be dark, not like the DCU. The DCEU and Snyderverse was the perfect style for DC. People just can't accept it.

I wanted a Suicide Squad movie that was like Batman Assault on Arkham or Suicide Squad Hell To Pay animated movies. James Gunn’s movie is the closest to that.

Jchuck. The second Suicide Squad film with Starro starfish from the animated Justice League Unlimited cartoon series. That was James Gunn's idea not Zack Snyder's idea. Zack Snyder was behind David Ayer's original Suicide Squad film in 2016. It was connected to Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman Dawn Of Justice film. They referenced Henry Cavill's Supermsn character in the film. The main antagonist in David Ayer's original SS film.was Enchantress not Starro who was really suppose to be replaced with Superman vs. Bloodsport the lead mercenary for the Suicide Squad team. Actor Idris Elba's character.

If you know anything about the box office then you should know that comic book films rely on their box office primarily. Once that blows over then the movie tanks.
