I think it's quite important to note that you can let the waves meet right in front of your tower after the enemy crashes the wave, by killing the wave as slow as possible by last hitting right before the turret shot that would kill the minion hits. This stalls your incoming wave under your tower, otherwise the waves would meet way closer to the middle of the lane. This allows you to safely create a big slowpush

I do have to say that the "never going to happen in your game" int to the tower to set up a bounce back has probably happened 2-3 times in my games. The problem is I realize "I should have inted to tower to make the wave crash/set up bounce back" after the wave has not crashed and it is too late, but I have recognized that it would have been the play 2 seconds too late.

Problem is that people in low elo dont tend to recall or abuse the rebounds. They just wanna clear the wave infront of them. Had a perfect crash, wanted to recall and roam, AD wanted to clear cannon wave (which wouldve bounced to us anyways..) overstayed and got his recall canceled by enemy support. Was literally game afterwards.. he was as useful as the G in lasagna..

I knew about the concept from playing support many years ago, but when I would discuss it with my friends I always called it minion ebb and flow to try to explain what I was experiencing. Thank you for this, I never got the hang of mid and feel like I understand so much better how to punish people who constantly aggress now.

As a Supp main who basically is a OTP Maokai, this here is where I get frustrated with ADCs in around high gold/low Plat. They constantly want to push the wave level 1 to where it's under their tower which often makes it seem like i am "useless" and often is punished by any decent jg. I switched to just going AP mao to more success because of this.....

"I feel like I'm a teacher lecturing on 2+2" [yes I know not exact quote, but it gets the essence thereof] the issue with this is knowing all the ramifications when you do or don't do wave control right, how to abuse the pluses and avoid the downs, where 2+2 simply is. Also for some [like myself] who have never been serious about the game til recently [cause you can't even play normals anymore without it] the various ways to help force the wave state you want are not explained. Ironically you did a good job with this video talking about how to use rebounding waves and things to watch for, the issue for more casual or new players will be watching for that and all the other macro things to worry about [or for others getting caught up in mechanics]. Overall good video, will be trying to implement it into my gameplay, but it is clear you've been good so long you have forgotten what its like to suck, like your target audience.

I've played that zilien, yone matchups alot, i learned to start e and just auto harrass at lv 1 ignoring the minion's completely this cause the wave to slow push into yone an eventually come back, at lv 2 yone is useally 1/3 hp and wave is slow pushing back so i can freeze and fk the yone compleatly.

I play wildrift And from what I've seen Grandmasters and higher are the only people that use wave tactics Really important to learn this properly if u want to climb I basically won games against much better players just because of wave control

So yeah, thoses play are pretty usefull ... if you are alone. Like, in toplane, i push to be level two before my enemy and then make a trade. They run away, missing some juicy gold, and i take a delayed cheated recall in order to have item advantage. Once it's done, i'm taking the rebond, the level power spike, and kill my enemy. I crash the wave, gaining a "true level advantage", so i can denied more gold. In botlane ... well ... my mate just want to push, dying in the process, and then flaming i'm not good enough (even if i ping to help them understand)

Rankeds are all about luck, you either have the afk or the person running it down mid on your team or you don't. This year I decided to start playing rankeds, in just my first 8 games I had 4 afkers and 1 person running it down mid. 5/8 of my games where unplayable.

Watching these videos just makes me more tilted. I know all these mechanics. But even if you do all those things correctly: 1: My jungler ignores pushed laners for 12 minutes living under my tower 24/7 while I farm under it. 2: You can stomp your lane while 2 lanes lose even harder. It feels Riot controls most people in Silver/Gold because every time I get a streak going where people don't feed and I'm able to carry the game with easy I will 100% get a cold streak of games where all lanes get stomped and don't even give you a chance to make a difference in the game. Every. Single. Time. I've played in Plat and even tho its still low, I feel like that kind of shit happens less the higher you are. But Silver/Gold is truly the elo hell.

In Plat elo all this might be true but in silver all that really matters are mechanics and it's easy to see why. A plat+ player in Silver will just destroy everyone by outplaying them and easily snowball. At the same time the farming skills of regular silver players is so weak that it geniuenly doesn't matter if you get a wave more or less. It all gets coinfliped the next second anyways when the team does some random macro calls that are unpredictable to see because they make no sense and death timers dictate much more how much cs and xp one gets. So it's really just all about being able to mechanically outplay ur opponents while as a player with silver mechanics good macro can't win you much as you can't get anything from it

I don't think any of these matter that much. I watched most of your videos and i can't climb out of plat. But when I go on my silver account,i win games in the most extraordinary ways. I play qiyana and only roam,don't take any minions on purpose,im basically trolling but i still win the game. I play amumu and proxy my toplaner's minions,still win the game. I play yuumi and not do anything. I just press e sometimes and still win. This game is really weird. You can't believe how many times i intended to troll but win games. Of course macro has effect too. I usally die on purpose 1-2 times and only farm with adc. When people teamfight,I split push and don't take towers if there is not bounty. That's a strong macro that wins me games. But i can win without those in low elo like i told you. I am basically trolling and winning games its really insane. It is all up to momentaraly deciding in low elo games. I mean 2 challs will destroy 4 bronze in a level 1 fight you know. I even uploaded videos on my channel,watch my amumu and twitch videos and you will see that it's true
