I was in the WV Army National Guard then, in my 20 yrs in the Guard (1983-2003) the 1985 Flood was the worst that I was involved in. The Summer 2001 Flood was bad also.

I was in the WV Army National Guard we were housed in the Buchanan Armory. In my 20 yrs with Guard (1983-2003) the 1985 Flood was the worst. The Summer 2001 Flood was bad also. Being in the WV Army National Guard, flood duty is part of your job.
