As Mercedes-Benz continues to expand their electric portfolio, the #MercedesBenzEQESUV is the next chapter of the #MercedesEQ family. This #EQE500 with #4Matic AWD takes the #EQE sedan and transforms it into a more practical SUV. The result is a midsize electric crossover that is roughly the EV equivalent to the very popular #MercedesBenzGLEClass.

Range needs to be at least 400 miles before anyone would consider this. 269 probably means 240 to 250 with the A/C or heater going.

Yeah not true depends how much you drive. Ours has about 250 range but never more than 50 a day so who cares? We don’t do long trips driving

I agree with you I have the ioniq 5 range isn't bad but when you turn on the ac or heat it kills 10 to 20 miles. If it had 300 mi, it would be a great mileage car. I do use all the miles from my ioniq.

That interior is everything. I just need that range to hit 400 miles. I don’t mind the jellybean shape to be honest. Great review Sofiyan.

I love the jelly bean shape. Loved the new MBUX interior. 10 degree rear steering is what sets it apart from Tesla or Audi. Much better looking than pig nose iX.

@@ahmedxkhan I only considered Audi because of the way they look and the s5 is fast. I think BMW is falling in Mercedes footsteps, because the new design language is not it. I dont like any bmws aside from the X1 that were released in the last 1.5 years. The last ones I would consider now are the x5, 430/440i, and 330i

3.5s to 60, Model Y Performance is only 52K ! With 300 mile range (330 for the long range trim). Plus, the monumentally superior supercharger network. Four built-in dash cams with the option to request accident footage from Tesla for the other 3-4 cameras. And at least a dozen other things that is adjustable in the car, and from the Tesla app, that isn't even user adjustable on most other cars. Etc etc etc No massage seats though 😞

I'm frustrated the majors don't seem to believe making the cars truly beautiful and desireable is important. MB themselves have been saying dealers are telling them the EQ cars dont elicit the same passion in their customers as their S class and others- I fully realize beauty is subjective, but by most peoples' opinions these cars are at best boring and uninspiring. Until they fix that most people will not pay the huge amounts of money these cars cost.

With at least 8 new EV's currently on the market that have at least 350 miles of range, and 4 that have over 400 miles of range, WTF is Wrong here? This car only has 269 mile of range! What an Effing Joke! The engineering team at Mercedes needs to go back to the drawing board! For that price, it should have at least 375 miles of range. FAIL!

Mercedes needs to realize that, once a car is sold, it no longer belongs to them. Mercedes has absolutely ZERO rights to that car whatsoever from the second the purchase is made, and the consumer is legally free to do absolutely anything they want with it. Im surprised this hood bullshit isn’t considered illegal. They have no right to control or put restrictions on your personal property.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Tesla's are unfortunately better deal in terms of PRICE! , RANGE! and TECH! the only edge MB's have is the quality... but if people are crazy over tesla's, build quality doesn't mean much these days except for old-timers. Also LESS stress purchasing from Tesla than dealerships.

Yes we get you don’t like the styling but what you call jellybean I call sleek, classic and aerodynamic and when it comes down to it people want range. Nice it’s fast but you focus way too much on that esp in this segment. Here people want luxury and utility that should be most important.

Im American so I don’t know what a nob is but I think it means a superior person so thanks! He noted the drag coefficient was low that is what they are going for for the best range for the battery pack they use. And while a 300 mile range seems ok to me, trading off some of that unneccesary acceleration for more range is probably what most buyers prefer: not long ago 5.5 seconds was very fast for any vehicle of this type so what rich (nob) soccer mom needs 4.x seconds? Get the porsche

So? 90% of those watching these videos are not actually buying a new car. They likely watch these videos to see the different takes carmakers have on electric cars or just to pass time. And do you really think these reviewers are going to pass when a dealer/manufacturer wants to give them a car to review? They're doing their job. It's relevant now with the booming electric car market. So why not? Also, if you don't like the car, don't watch it then. You're not forced to.
