Alex Waterhouse joins us at the Lattice Training unit to set a crazy dynamic boulder which perfectly illustrates all the major and complex challenges of dynamic climbing. In this one boulder Alex teaches us 3 essential steps to master this style of climbing;
1. Generate outward space! To allow for inward momentum.
2. Plan your eye position and sequence. Look one step ahead.
3. Focus on getting our hips to the deadpoint of the swing aka the point of weightlessness.

Alex always brings a lot of energy and high spirits into the videos :) Explaining how to approach dynamic boulder problems and showing the execution in such an effortless manner is very helpful and entertaining at the same time, thanks.

Empirical evidence: you know you're too close to the wall when you hit your chin and it bleeds! Loving this video. It'll be a long time before I try any of this, but it's a great watch.

That looks SO fun. But Im usually sort of a couch potato unless I'm climbing. I'm at low v3 after about 6 months going gym once a week, it sort of feels like I'm getting to a point where me being a chonkus is starting to REALLY affect how far I can go. I can't picture myself EVER being able to do that lol.
