Well…. While the drivers on your list are popular in their own right… there are several others that I think have to be added to that list. Richard Petty is still the King and among the retired drivers he draws a big crowd. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is probably one of the most respected and popular drivers on all of social media. Chase Elliott has won NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver on several occasions and has a very large social media presence. Both Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon still enjoy great popularity among their loyal fan base. Lots to consider when you try to narrow it down to three most popular drivers in NASCAR. JMO

My opinion on Hailie is all the naysayers that say she has no talent obviously have never watched any of her races before she moved to NASCAR. Ford, knowing she was new, young and dumb in NASCAR dealings sold her a pipe dream by throwing alot of money at her. She did what any of us would've done at her age, gimme a break. Putting her in a truck regressed her talent if anything. Short track racers have to be more disciplined because they don't have thousands of dollars to fix the car each week or have a backup, so they have to learn how to not use up their shit or beat up the car, they don't get pitstops to make adjustments, they get one set of tires and a tank of fuel. I believe that if she would've gone straight to xfinity first the outcome would've been better. Ford did the same thing to Hailie as SHR and NASCAR did to Danica, used her for what she could bring in marketing dollars, they didn't care about her talent.

While I am not now nor have I ever been a big fan of Hailie Deegan, I do understand the amount of grit, courage and determination that it took for her to step into the overwhelmingly male dominated world of NASCAR and take on the role of driver and believe as well that placing all of the blame on her for what can only be described as an absolute debacle of a season, is kind of like blaming a jockey for losing the race when the horse didn’t even bother to show up at the track.
