@@edit7606 Not desync at all. Definitely happened cause of the shell hitting the wreck behind the IS-2 like Bo was saying, been a problem in this engine since Faces of War. If a shell impacts a completely destroyed wreck no matter the size of it the AoE effect is entirely negated. It's fucked lol

To answer Munk's question. Any kind of artillery is a good counter against the 300mm nebel. Andryusha or Katyusha works best, Andryusha for a guaranteed kill, Katyusha for the range.

@@SuperCrow02 obv you cant know this but we tried mortars and heavier artillery but they rocketed that as well. (Granted one of the guns gets killed by a bomber as you see in the video). The 300 has insane range, explosive radius and spread so it blows up a huge area hence the “how do you counter this”

@@munk6576 That's why you should you have brought irregular doctrine for the Katyusha or Land-lease for the Andryusha. Also, probably should have coordinated with your team to bring more than 1 arty at once, so with saturation you could get the advantage, but if watching Bokoen has told me anything throughout the years, teamwork with Swimmy or Golden is impossible. Also, Munk. Some friendly advice. If you guys are playing Standard game options, buying tanks for MP is a no-no, bring them in for DP. Spam Panzerschrecks, -they're only 90MP- and AT cannons

Andrusha or even Katyasha wouldnt be able to hit the nebel due to their range. The only way to kill is by ising the normal arty, which is also very random @@Tovalokodonc

I know noone asked but the "Panzer" in "Panzergrenadier" doesn't mean they're supposed to "be tanks", but that they're grenadeers who should keep up with tank divisions, basically do what in HOI4 would be pinning: secure the flanks, start diversion attacks, attack along with tanks, prevent encirclements and so on. And no many people think they were the ones exclusively using Hanomags, armored halftracks, but most used normal trucks. There were mainly Panzergrenadiere (ungepanzert) and Panzergrenadiere (gepanzert), armored and unarmored divisions. They're basically motorized heavy infantry, fast, well-trained troops made for heavy combat.

Hey bo, is it worth it to get the base game call to arms, I kinda want to play a men of war style game but cold war without mods but from what I've heard there's not many missions in the base game and the devs effectively abandoned it

It's definitely worth. I also saw it on G2A some months ago. Ostfront has awesome campaign missions, DLCs are a bit pricey though

Don't get base game Call to Arms, it pales in comparison to any other game in the Men of War series

It's really lackluster compared to GoH or even the older MoW games, it has almost no unit variety. The USA has like 3 tanks total for example, maybe 14 vehicles max, while Gates of Hell has hundreds of vehicles. The only reason to get Call to Arms is to get Gates of Hell. It's also missing a ton of quality of life features. Plus its not cold war, its more modern day. Unless you want to buy the really old Men of War Cold War game, just use mods for Ostfront.
