Finally someone who the AVP ifs for... Like no other device or combnation of devices can do what you buaght the AVP for... of the dozens of people I've seen with it you are the first to really need it. Thank you for sharing your experiences with the device!

the "memory machine" function of the AVP is the reason I bought one. When I saw spatial video in my in-store demo, I had to have it. Sure, I could wait for the next iteration of the headset... but my daughter is 16. She'll no longer be a kid when the next iteration comes out. If I want those memories, as filmed on the AVP, then I have to jump in now. Should get it in a few days. I'm so excited. For me, this device is the beginning of a real time machine.

I bought my Apple Vision Pro a month ago. Love this new tech! Will never return it. Great review, btw.

The Split Screen app mirrors an ultrawide monitor. I have a 49" ultrawide and SS made it even wider. Unfortunately there's a lag so hopefully the developers will improve it. I also hate turbulence and look forward to flying with mine soon.

Great video! I love mine, and I think this video really captures what you can’t explain to people who have never worn it. I think once you don’t have it around you anymore you realize how much it really can do. it’s definitely an odd product in that you have to experience it to understand it.

The vision pro is like, something you don't have to own, but once you own it, and get used to it for a while. Then you feel like you don't want to loose that experience. Especially when flying on an airplane.

One of my favourite things to do with the Vision Pro is rewatching movies I have purposely avoided viewing in 3D, the experience is significantly better than without VP… 🤔

Great video. I thought my household was a freak of nature after hearing so many reviewers say they do not watch tv or movies without the family. In my household, we like and watch different things! We can be in the same room and still use different devices. I was equally confused watching all the jaded and hardened tech journalists giggling and laughing like school children when they first tried the AVP, only to come back a week later saying “it’s nothing special, I’m returning it”. It was EXACTLY the same device Apple introduced at the keynote! Even the “who is this for” question seemed disingenuous if you have been paying the tiniest bit of attention to the business sector. This 1st gen AVP is clearly for the always along for the ride “early adopters, XR developers and business interest. No sector has shoveled money at any company that can reduce the cost of labor and services like corporations. Just like Apple was bombarded by thousands of professions and businesses wanting an iPhone app designed for their customers in the digital age, they will want to have a strong foothold in the world of spatial computing. I returned mine because I couldn’t get past the narrow field of view and weight. Fingers crossed Apple cuts the weight in half and increases the FOV in Gen 2-3 🤞

Frame as a tv sucks. Got one. It’s nice as a “piece” in the main room, over the fireplace, but blacks are gray. The art part is what makes it and for that, I won’t have anything else. Anyhow, I’m looking at the vp for same reasons. Oled screens for entertainment.
