Surprised we haven't seen this on Meta Quest 3. With Apple Vision Pro you can now have a 3D guided meditation experience with Jack Black set in the universe of the Kung Fu Panda Movie. Made by DreamWorks, instead of only watching movies they let Po give you a lesson of Tai Chi moves for beginners in mixed reality. I can see how health and fitness of all kinds becomes a big thing on this spatial computer!

As Filmmaker, it limits and challenge you, to make an experience like that. Limits, in terms of camerawork and therefore storytelling. Also challenging, because then the film must function from every angle… In Animation Workflows, you cheat a bit to make poses more appealing to the camera. When you have a different viewangle, then it looks distorted.

I was watching a very cool show about The Sphere in Las Vegas. I was just thinking, how they could literally put the 3d 360 camera in the middle, and capture truly dramatic experiences to show on AVP! I wonder if they could do it live and charge for it….lol

I agree with you. 1. I am loving the immersive experiences on AVP. And like this example…. I can imagine what the creative folks at Disney (& Dreamworks and others) will do to find unique ways to not only deliver their content, but to build relationships with their IP characters in your space…. Add AI and Goofy and I can talk about what it’s like to raise a son, Max! Lol

Eventually, like most electronics, the price will probably come way way down. New tech and new ideas usually start at a premium price. Other than the price, I absolutely love the idea behind this. I once imagined if technology would be able to bring us like a play that you would go to see, but all the characters are in 3D around you!!! I'm sixty years old now...I hope it comes out soon!! I 👍 I love 3D and I love VR!!!!

Love how seeing the first-person perspective is comparable to the way your GTA Online character moves when switching perspectives. He keeps shoving his hands into his face when its first person and then you can right away see how he had his hands in 3rd person and see him actually do full movements with his arms.

@@PSy84 not at this moment. You can´t compare the amount of users in Vision Pro and Quest platforms. The Vision Pro is still expensive and mostly for enthusiasts. Right now the money for developers is in the Quest platform. But you might be right in the future.

I strongly suspect this was mostly/completely funded by Apple, not unlike how Oculus either paid for or heavily subsidized a lot of their early content (before they started just outright buying the best VR developers). I ask myself "who benefits" and in this case it's both. Dreamworks has a movie to promote and Apple has a headset that REALLY needs some content but the fact that it is AVP only says Apple-funded to me.

cant wait to watch a fully volumetric docu movie about nature one day. hopefully someone is doing it right this moment. or a docu movie about space like that one video about what will happen in the next million million years something like that with really cool visuals would be the best experience ever. not sure why these apple vision 3d experiences aren't fully volumetric though why is it only a small screen?

How is stereoscopic 3d effect in usual films? (like Avengers). in Quest there is movie theatre app that allows you to play steroscopic films with better 3d effect than in theaters. Did Appe have that?

Watched many movies (Dr. Strange (1+2), Spider-man 1-3 (Tom Holland) and The Amazing Spider-man 1-2 in 3D in cinema mode on the Vision Pro. Will never go to a cinema again. Such a great 3D experience without all those annoying people.

This is really cool, but definitely isn't something that will surpass regular 3D movies. Definitely an interesting experience though. As of now I think Quest 3 is the best device for stereo 3D movies currently, it's not even close in my experience. Vision is locked to apple drm files and streaming, whereas on quest the 4xvr app can decode MVC, so my entire blu-ray library is playable there without issue of DRM/ownership.

nice video , but say again its nice tech ,1 but am in uk so cant get vision pro, 2 price for low income ,3 i doint have any apple stuff so not into apple itself , 4 i got my first vr head set brand new quest 3 512 gb for 465 pounds and for sort time i used wow really great so far watched few movies , bigscreen vr plus my windows laptop so great ,am waiting on buying better head strap with more power , that comes to ,5 vison pro has no internal battery so cant like add more power ,..6 quest 3 got free game as got 512 i have option for the 6 months free quest + subscription good thing is i can try games with out buying them as such ,...........so at moment i feel may never need to buy vison pro based on price ,weight and there closed off ecosystem if they sort that out me give try but by time they bring out cheaper one with balance of weight and fact of adding extra battery with out switching it off to change , also controller's should been there at start for things that hand and eye tracking alone is cant do so apple may never get me to buy unless bit more universal and easy extra battery sysem

is this the best app (demo) from a 3 trillion dollar company can offer? for sure it is awesome for 1st to 3rd use of the demo, then what?
