It's been a week since then, just waiting for some meaningful text from him. If he doesn't text then I'm letting him go completely. I don't want someone with such low interest in me.

I disagree with text 2. U should not indulge in breadcrumbs. If u say u don’t want to be friends but ur willing to see them to talk then they already know ur not doing as well as they think and they will probably not give u a date. So NO. Do not engage.

Yooooooo, this works so well. After me putting her in nc for her bad behavior and playing games...its been about 6+ months.... She had her bday 2 days ago....i didn't acknowledge or respond at all....about 15 mins ago she did a big double text getting mad and just showing her hand....nah im not playing this game... either you come correct don't disrespect me when you talk to me.. or i disappear completely from your life.

@AJtheDestroyer no, she did some breadcrumbs in the first 2 mths of the breakup. So I gave her a chance to come right. The hardest part. We both work together on child welfare stuff... so I have to communicate with her... just on cases/work... so from a work view. She tries to reach out now alot more. I never. I have my field ops do the contact for me and they just cc me. But last Fri was the first she legit reached out on my person cell super late a night....anyone knows when an ex does this late on a Friday night with 2 block messages within a span of 10 minutes... you know its a test and she's starting to unravel.... gotta stay the course and let her put in the work. I don't need to ignore her. But I'll politely address her with a boundary and logic.

It's just like reading my current situation with my ex. She would disrespect me and act cold and distant then pull away, and when her birthday came a week later she got mad that I didn't text her or said happy birthday, needless to say it ended a week later. After a month she started breadcrumbing me with tiktok videos, and calling me "accidentally", then when she realized I'm over it, she would start asking me random questions, like if she was a bad person, or she was pretty, or trying to get me jealous

Didn’t hear from her until day four started off nice and ended with her accusing me of cheating and telling me I already found somebody else. I was trying to keep it short she just kept sending more messages kept saying she was going to bed kept sending more messages and then she got extremely angry.

Pretty good advice. My ex is younger and i've been around the block. it works like a charm specially when you know you did everything right but maybe they just go comfortable and the excitement is gone. yea those types of women... can you really go 100MPH 100% of the time. unrealistic. Then again, she is younger. they learn...umm some learn. lol

I did no contact and got the 4th text after almost 4 weeks with the “are you ready to be friends yet”, said it was his fault, and even said “I miss you”. He asked if I was going to be out dancing and came to the venue, came over to talk to me and danced a little with me, but then danced with 4 women very close to me so I could see. He Texted me again 3 days later and chatted for awhile. Now no contact again for over a week. He’s a fearful avoidant so do I reach out casually or go into no contact again?

Just got one today.. after 2 months. Just telling me I had to change my address…. Not sure how I feel. This is a rough week for both of us though. We have to go to court because of her ex baby daddy. Who tried to kill us. So I’m all sorts of emotional lol. But waited a few hrs and responded. “The addresses should have been changed months ago. Sorry.” Left it at that. Idk if it was the right thing to say. Part of me doesn’t care. But a part of me does because I’m now on KZfaq lol.
