Thank you very much for this video. You are changing the lives (minds, perspectives, actions) of others through these words of wisdom. Today I've learned that I can sell something that I don't need to buy (for example I would never ever need children's shoes for myself, but I can sell children's shoes to someone). I had a mantra for myself: sell what you buy, because you know the product in and out. But now I see there is a different way of looking at the process of serving people with their needs.

thank you Shaner The idea that "it is unethical to sell something that I wouldn't buy myself" was a belief that I held... but it is not a helpful belief.

Great lesson from this video! I think this is a great example of “thinking outside the box” and as you mentioned: take profit of your(s) asset(s) and your network. I once read that the quality and the size of network defines your NET WORTH. Thanks for always sharing great content and information explained very clear! Saludos!

Really helpful video Thankyou Conor. I work for a local authority looking to cost save, cut services and the usual finance discussions. You have changed my perspective as a manager. Whilst saving we could also review what customers actually want, charge for some services and possibly grow. Hope I've not missed the point but feel quite energised today 👍😊

In many, many cases what someone values most from an organisation is "free" - to have their name used, to be listened to and hear their own words repeated back... I love Rory Sutherland - one of his talks he says that "engineers spent 6 billion UK pounds to make the Eurostar 30 minutes faster... if he had those 6 billion, he would spend 1 billion to make the journey more fun so that travellers actually would book the slower train and save 5 billion"

Hello Conor, Thank you for all your sincere thoughts and advice on this Chanel. As you often ask for questions and subjects for new videos I thought to suggest one. Having been following the news and observing long term trends it occurred to me that going forward there may not be pensions that have much financial value for future generations. Having turned 50 recently it occurred to me that many people my age may need to consider working up to the age of 75( and beyond) and may need to learn entrepreneurial skills and new mindsets/reinvent themselves. Has this subject come up before and do you have any thoughts on becoming an entrepreneur after 50? With thanks, Nicholas

but the assignment was to "Invest" the $5 - which implies parting with it and making money based on that risk - hence - Return On Investment or ROI - if not, what's the point just give an assignment to make money - they could have just started wagering on who will win.
