I’m 63 and still have my 67 Chevy 2 Nova. Old school 327ci .202 heads and big Holley carb w/m22 Rockcrusher 4 speed. Many upgrades over the 40+ years I’ve owned it. Never sell and want to be buried in it.

I can’t thank you enough for putting the cobra on the list, I’ve heard a lot of people hate it and a lot of people love it. Personally the terminator cobra is one of my favorite cars of all time, the combo of the supercharger whine along with topping out at around 170mph stock I don’t see how you can’t love it.

5-13k goes for the 99-02 Cobra’s. The 03-04 cobras come supercharged which is dubbed the TERMINATOR w/ 380 Hp but capable of more. The 2003 Mustang Cobra depending on original miles can go up to 30k.

Well, from owning a mustang I can absolutely agree that the brakes are just a hopes and dreams petal. That being said the GTWOAH, the C5, or the camaro..... or of course a C4 LT4 would be my choice

They could've had better brakes, specially pre 99 non cobras.. Fox body brakes are garbage. I own both a 94 gt and a 95 v6 and I can assure the v6 braked better than the gt before I swapped 99 up calipers to the 94. Made a huge difference.

I Am Z1 that’s the dumbest policy I’ve ever heard. So they would insure 1.6L miata that is quick and much more dangerous when compared to a 3.5L accord that’s such a dumb rule. Like what. You can’t own a yukon with its 6.1L but you could own a 335i with a 2.0 turbo four and rwd.

G’day Brad as I’ve mentioned in the past Monaro ( GTO ) a couple May have ended up with the 427 Chev in them courtesy of HSV ( Holden Special Vehicles ) at the instigation possibly of the late Tom Walkinshaw who had a lot of input at HSV back in the day ... Will try to search more info regarding larger motor in Aussie versions as one may have ended up a highway patrol car in Melbourne Australia for a bit

the challenger you are thinking about is an SRT8, not an RT. RT's only had a 5.7 hemi not the 6.1. still a good buy for the price though

If you can’t buy a ls1 f body under 5k which where I live so hard to find I suggest getting a cheap lt1 then build a 5.3,6.0,6.2 from a GM truck and then you find a ls1 donor or buy parts for a face lift this something I want to do for a T/A they are too expensive for me but is one of my many dream cars thanks for reading random person take care

Ideal Media I enjoy the vehicle a lot! Yes it’s been a ride fixing it, keeping it together with parts being harder to acquire as it ages. But you do not see them everyday, or every street corner like the mustangs, challengers, and Camaro’s/Vettes. Solid 8/10 score from me.

My grandma was going to buy me a muscle car for my first car I always wanted to have a C5 base model but I realized that it didn't have backseats So i opted with a 99 F-body Camaro And i don't regret it at all 😁

The 1999-2000 Cobra didn't make the power they said they were supposed to because the tube that runs from the throttle body to the air filter under hard acceleration would collapse in on itself they literally just had to replace the tube.

I’d like to clear up some errors with the new edge cobra, the 8.8 is the same as the GT it’s not beefed up same rear end. I’d buy a 05GT over the cobra.also you showed a video of an 03 cobra which is a whole other animal. 4v with an Eaton m112 blower and forged bottom end from Manley. They are about 16k, and a way better starting platform. But for 16k I picked up my 11 GT with a coyote which is IMO the best platform fords creates in a long time

01-07 Chevy Monte Carlo SS are dirt cheap and are powerful. 01-05 were powered by supercharged 3.8 liter and then 06-07 was powered by an LS 5.4 liter V8 supercharged.
